Pair of Dragy-Poi bolas: The ideal tool for training
These bolas are assembled with stage balls from the French brand éoZoé. The balls are made in France from recyclable PVC and are phthalate-free.
This item, also known as a "Practice Poi," allows you to practice with a smooth visual effect, without using fire. The feel in your hand is very similar to that of fire poi (thanks to the combination of a real chain and a weight at the end). It's the perfect transition to perfect your tricks before venturing into fire work!
Why choose Dragy-Poi bolas?
Whether you're a complete beginner or a juggler looking to refine your technique, this model is an excellent choice. The ball's weight (110 grams) makes it particularly easy to handle for beginners: it's heavy enough to allow for precise movements ( weaves, butterflies ), but light enough to prevent arm fatigue.
The formula of the éoZoé plastic has also been modernized to offer a ball that is softer than classic stage balls. Rest assured: when you get hit in the head while learning a new trick, it still hurts a little... but much less than before!
Thanks to their 70mm diameter, they are perfectly suited for practicing isolations . However, they are a little small if you want to do pure "contact" juggling.
Handles, chain and swivels: comfort above all
To prevent blisters after hours of practice, these bolas are equipped with tubular nylon handles that are very soft on the fingers. You can hold them in three different ways:
- By simply passing your hand through the loop.
- By pinching the handle between your fingers.
- Pro tip: by turning the handle over itself to form 2 loops (passed around your fingers), this offers the best hold and optimal comfort.
Another major advantage: the handle is mounted on a ball-bearing swivel . This high-end system prevents the chain from tangling and allows you to perform complex tricks like hyperloops or orbitals with perfect fluidity.
How do you adjust the length of your bolas?
The included steel chain is intentionally long (51 cm) . It's an ultra-robust chain, originally selected for fire-related equipment where safety must be paramount. To adjust it to your hand size (ideally, the distance between your hand and armpit): simply slide the handle along the chain to the desired length, then cut off the excess chain with wire cutters (not included).
Colors, finishes and care of éoZoé balls
For the choice of colors, we opted for a manufacturing process without UV pigments . The advantage? The balls retain their original color much longer in the sun, and bleed color onto each other much less when stored together.
You have a choice of two finishes in our configurator:
- Glossy Finish: A smooth and classic look.
- Matte finish: Slightly softer to the touch, with a surface texture that glides a little better upon contact.
Care instructions: The balls clean very well with soapy water.
⚠️ Warning: Plastic acts like a sponge with inks. If your balls rub against a newspaper or magazine, the ink will set in and be impossible to clean (be especially careful with white, which absorbs easily, and yellow, which can stain). If you're meticulous, pack them in a small fabric storage bag to keep them separate in your backpack, away from your books, pens... or squashed bananas!

Hello, To shorten the bolas, do you have to cut them or tie a knot in them?
I can't add the item to the cart? I chose two colors for a kit, I tried all the colors I think, and even two different colors...
Is the chain length adjustable?
Do you recommend these bolas for a beginner who wants to get started without any particular intention of going into fire?
You can adjust the length of the chain as you wish. Simply move the ring that holds the handles and cut off the excess using cutting pliers, which are not included with the bolas. This model is perfectly usable for learning how to make bolas. For something more comfortable, you could also look into our contact bolas which have a cord instead of a chain, making them more comfortable and versatile.
