🌍 The world's largest juggling convention

The European Juggling Convention (EJC) is the largest international gathering dedicated to juggling and circus arts.

Every summer, 3,000 to 5,000 participants from more than 50 countries come together to experience nine days of shows, workshops, meetings, music and sharing in a unique atmosphere.

In 2026, the beautiful historic city of Ptuj, Slovenia, will host this 48th edition. For one week, the medieval streets, historic squares, gymnasiums and public spaces will be transformed into a vast playground dedicated to circus arts.

Activities are spread throughout the old town, around the Drava River, in gymnasiums, public squares and various spaces specially set up for the convention.


🎭 An entire city transformed into a festival

The EJC is much more than a convention.

It is a huge gathering where jugglers, artists, families, circus schools, professionals and amateurs live together for nine days around a common passion.

In 2026, Ptuj, the oldest city in Slovenia, becomes the festival stage itself. Performances take over the medieval streets, historic squares host permanent performances, and gymnasiums become gigantic training spaces open almost 24/7.

The EJC is based on a simple philosophy:

"By jugglers, for jugglers."

Anyone can propose a workshop, participate in an open mic, organize a game or simply share their passion with the thousands of participants from all over the world.

It is this friendly, international and welcoming atmosphere that makes the EJC an absolutely unique event.
