Give your child a week full of discovery and excitement with the circus camp during the autumn 2026 school holidays, organized by the Bayeux André Hébert Circus School, a leading institution for circus arts education in Normandy. Located under its permanent big top at the Stade Laquerbe in Bayeux, the school welcomes many young enthusiasts and curious newcomers each year to discover the world of the circus in a friendly, supportive, and safe environment.
Organized from October 19th to 25th, 2026, this workshop allows children to learn or improve their skills in the various disciplines of circus arts, under the guidance of qualified instructors from the school. Whether it's a first-time experience or a way to deepen existing practice, each child progresses at their own pace thanks to teaching methods adapted to their age and skill level.
Throughout the week, participants discover the richness of circus disciplines through a variety of workshops combining acrobatics, aerial techniques, balance, juggling, physical expression, skill games, and teamwork. These activities help develop coordination, motor skills, balance, flexibility, creativity, concentration, self-confidence, and teamwork, all while sharing a fun and artistic experience.
As with the other workshops organized by the school, the days are structured around progressive activities that promote technical learning as well as the enjoyment of practicing together. The children develop in a safe environment, equipped with professional equipment adapted for the practice of circus arts.
The philosophy of the Bayeux André Hébert Circus School is first and foremost to transmit the values of the circus: mutual support, respect, pushing one's limits, cooperation, and the joy of creating together. Trainees are supported throughout their progress so that each can gain independence and confidence in their abilities.
The precise details (times, age groups and detailed program) of the autumn 2026 course will be communicated directly by the school during registration.
