During the summer holidays of 2026, Acrobate-Circus invites children and families to enjoy a unique circus arts experience in La Croix-de-la-Rochette, Savoie. Located at 325 Chemin des Marais, this circus school offers several weeks of intensive courses as well as workshops specially designed for toddlers and families. Led by a team of passionate professionals, these activities allow participants to discover or deepen their knowledge of various circus disciplines in a friendly, supportive, and dynamic atmosphere.
Children's courses, open to children aged 4 to 15, are organised over three weeks during the summer, each focusing on a different theme while maintaining a multidisciplinary approach to circus arts.
The first session takes place from July 20 to 24, 2026, and is dedicated to aerial disciplines combined with a multidisciplinary approach. Young participants will be introduced to aerial apparatus while practicing various circus arts to develop their coordination, balance, flexibility, motor skills, and self-confidence.
The second week, from August 3rd to 7th, 2026, will focus on acrobatics combined with multidisciplinary activities. Children will discover the basics of ground acrobatics, learn to control their bodies in space, and also practice several circus disciplines to develop their creativity and physical ease.
Finally, from August 17 to 21, 2026, the course combines acrobatics and aerial disciplines, offering a particularly comprehensive program allowing young circus artists to discover or perfect their practice in two major families of circus arts.
The camps are available for half-days, full days, or entire weeks, allowing each family to choose the most suitable option. Activities take place daily from 9:00 am to 12:00 pm and then from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm. For children registered for the full day, a lunchtime supervision option is available. Lunch is a packed lunch, allowing participants to share a pleasant moment together before the afternoon activities resume.
In addition to these workshops, Acrobate-Circus is also organizing two days specially dedicated to families on July 25 and August 22, 2026.
In the morning, from 11:00 to 12:00, children aged 1 to 3 years old, accompanied by a parent, participate in a motor skills workshop. Through a fun and safe obstacle course, toddlers develop their balance, coordination, gross motor skills, and self-confidence. This workshop offers a first introduction to circus arts adapted for the youngest children, through motor games, balance courses, object manipulation, and exercises that promote physical awareness.
In the afternoon, from 2:00 pm to 5:00 pm, parent-child workshops are offered for children aged 4 to 15 accompanied by an adult. Parents and children will discover the world of circus together through various activities that foster cooperation, mutual trust, and the joy of sharing an artistic activity as a family. It's a special time for sharing where everyone can experience circus techniques in a warm and relaxed atmosphere.
The activities are led by the teaching team of Acrobate-Circus, an association founded in 2012 as Broken Brothers before becoming Acrobate-Circus in 2016. Based in La Croix-de-la-Rochette since 2019, it is now recognized as a true circus school offering classes for children and adults, as well as a professional company performing throughout France. The association also provides classes in physical conditioning, flexibility, balance, contortion, and aerial disciplines. It is chaired by Émilie Rouzies and relies on a team of volunteers and artists dedicated to passing on the circus arts.
The courses are led in particular by Aurélien Mussard, acrobat, stuntman and co-founder of the company, as well as Lucile Triay, aerial artist and trainer, who put their experience at the service of the participants in order to offer teaching adapted to all levels, from beginner to more experienced practitioner.
Whether you're looking to discover the circus arts for a few hours, share a unique family activity, or experience a full week of immersion, these summer camps offer an excellent opportunity to develop agility, creativity, balance, and self-confidence in a safe, friendly, and stimulating environment. Combining aerial disciplines, acrobatics, motor skills workshops, multidisciplinary exploration, and family time, Acrobate-Circus offers a comprehensive program that will allow everyone to leave with new skills, wonderful memories, and the desire to continue their circus adventure.
