The 2026 French Unicycle Cup will take place from Saturday, October 24th to Saturday, October 31st, 2026 at the Tremplin Sport Campus in Voiron, Isère. For eight days, this unmissable event for French unicyclists will bring together hundreds of participants from all over France for a week of competitions, sporting performances, meetings, and social gatherings. Clubs, competitors, volunteers, families, supporters, and enthusiasts will come together to share their passion for unicycling in an environment entirely dedicated to the sport.
The 2026 edition also marks a significant milestone in the history of the sport with the creation of the French Unicycle Cup Association. Composed primarily of former organizers of French Cups, this new organization arose from a shared observation within the community: it was becoming increasingly difficult for clubs to manage the organization of such a large-scale event on their own. The workload, the loss of experience between successive editions, and the dwindling number of interested clubs led to the creation of a permanent association whose mission is to ensure the continuity of future French Cups. This association works in partnership with the Léo Lagrange National Sports Union, the National Unicycle Commission, and the various Sports Committees to guarantee a sustainable and high-quality organization.
Throughout the week, participants will be able to take part in the numerous competitions scheduled. As in previous years, the various unicycle disciplines will be represented, allowing riders of all levels to participate according to their specialty. The preliminary schedule of events will be finalized by the organizers and communicated to participants before the start of the event.
Registration has been open since June 1st, 2026, directly through the official website of the French Unicycle Cup. To encourage early registration, several discounted periods have been implemented.
For competitors aged 0 to 10 years, registration fees are set at €60 until July 31, €80 until August 31, then €120 until September 30, 2026.
For competitors aged 11 and over, the prices are €75 until July 31, €95 until August 31, then €135 until September 30, 2026.
Non-competitive participants can attend the event for free.
To facilitate the arrival of clubs and competitors, accommodation is available directly on the Tremplin Sport Campus, the main venue for the competition. Participants can book single rooms or shared rooms for two, three, or five people. All rooms have private bathrooms but no kitchens. Breakfast is included in the room rate.
Accommodation rates are set at €55.98 per person per night, including breakfast, for a single room with private shower and WC, and €34.88 per person per night, including breakfast, for a multi-person room with private bathroom.
The organizers strongly recommend booking early, as the number of rooms available is limited. Reservations should be made directly with Tremplin Sport by email, specifying your billing information and the reference "French Unicycle Cup". Payment can be made by credit card or check.
Beyond the purely sporting aspect, the French Unicycle Cup is a special annual opportunity for the entire French unicycle community to come together. For a week, riders of all ages can share their experiences, discover new disciplines, watch the performances of the best French competitors, meet clubs from all over the country, and enjoy many friendly moments outside of the competitions.
The Tremplin Sport Campus offers an environment particularly suited to this type of event thanks to its sports infrastructure, accommodation capacity and living spaces allowing participants to live together for the duration of the event without having to make multiple trips.
The organizers announce that new information will be published progressively regarding the conduct of the events, detailed schedules, the reception of participants, the general organization as well as the various activities planned throughout this week dedicated to the unicycle.
The 2026 French Unicycle Cup is shaping up to be one of the major sporting events of the season for all unicycle enthusiasts, whether they are competitors, beginners, licensed riders, volunteers, or simply spectators eager to discover the richness and diversity of this discipline. Thanks to the creation of the new association dedicated to its organization and the support of French clubs, this edition aims to further develop unicycling in France while perpetuating the values of sharing, camaraderie, and pushing personal limits that have characterized the community for many years.
