During the 2026 All Saints' Day school holidays, the Les Arts de l'Air circus school in Nice is offering two weeks of workshops for children aged 7 to 12. From October 19th to 23rd and then from October 26th to 30th, 2026, young participants will discover circus arts and aerial disciplines through a particularly varied program combining aerial hammock, aerial hoop, trapeze, juggling, object balancing, artistic expression, and group activities. Each workshop runs from Monday to Friday, from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, and concludes with a performance for families.

🎪 Based in Nice, Les Arts de l'Air is a circus school specializing in aerial disciplines. The association offers year-round classes in hoop, hammock, silks, trapeze, and aerial straps for a variety of students. Its teaching emphasizes safety, individual progress, the joy of practice, and self-confidence.

For the All Saints' Day holidays, the school is expanding this approach with a true multidisciplinary circus camp for 7-12 year olds. The children will therefore not spend their week on a single apparatus: the program is designed to allow them to experience different sensations, both in the air and on the ground.

🤸 A significant portion of the camp is dedicated to aerial disciplines. Children can be introduced to aerial hammock, aerial hoop, and trapeze. These apparatuses allow them to progressively discover suspension, support, body positioning, and different forms of expression at height, within a suitable educational framework.

The program also includes juggling, offering young trainees another entry point into the world of circus. Object manipulation, coordination between gaze and movement, and the discovery of new gestures complement the work done on aerial apparatus.

⚖️ Children also experiment with balancing on objects. These activities develop body awareness, balance, and coordination. The photographs used by the school to showcase its activities demonstrate various balance and aerial exercises designed for young children.

But the stated objective of Les Arts de l'Air goes beyond learning technical skills. The program also includes work on artistic expression, coordination, and teamwork. Circus arts thus become a way to move, create, experiment, and build confidence while developing alongside other participants.

This philosophy aligns more broadly with the educational project developed by the association. Graciela Newsam, founder of Arts de l'Air and a state-certified circus instructor, has extensive experience in aerial disciplines. The school emphasizes a teaching approach where everyone can progress at their own pace in a supportive and inclusive environment.

🎭 After five days of activities, the camp culminates in a highlight: a show is organized on Friday and open to families. This performance allows the children to share some of what they experienced during their week and also to explore the artistic and theatrical aspects of the circus.

The workshops take place over full days, from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., at 4 rue Louis Genari in Nice. The price is €230 per participant for a five-day week. As places are limited, advance booking with Arts de l'Air is required.

These two weeks therefore constitute a particularly comprehensive proposal for families looking for a circus camp in Nice during the All Saints' Day holidays 2026. With its mix of aerial hoop, hammock, trapeze, juggling, balance and artistic expression, the program allows children to discover several facets of circus arts during the same week, before sharing their experience with their loved ones during the final show.
