Lithium battery safety information

You must read these safety instructions and warnings before using or charging your batteries.

Lithium batteries are used in light capsules, PodPoi and lithium flow cells.

Lithium-ion batteries can cause damage such as leakage, fire, or explosion when misused or defective. Failure to read and follow the instructions below may result in fire, personal injury and property damage if loaded or used incorrectly or if defective.

Always charge in an isolated area away from other flammable materials like wood or carpeting. Never charge batteries unattended.

Please check your charger to make sure it is working properly at the start of each charge cycle. If your charger or battery becomes hot, swells, emits smoke, or smells unusual, STOP CHARGING IMMEDIATELY. Observe the battery for 15 minutes in a safe location outside of any building or vehicle and away from any combustible material to ensure it does not ignite, and contact us.

Some microUSB chargers on the market may have technical faults which may cause them to charge Li-ion batteries incorrectly or at an incorrect rate. It is your sole responsibility to ensure that the charger you have purchased functions properly. Always monitor the charging process to ensure the batteries are properly charged.

DO NOT disassemble or modify the battery. Vibration, punctures, contact with metals, or weathering of the battery can cause battery failure. The battery contains safety and protection devices which, if damaged, may generate heat, explode, ignite or short circuit. Serious injury may occur.

Store in a cool, dry place. Never store or charge batteries in extreme temperatures, such as a hot car; near sources of heat or fire; or in pressurized or very cold environments.

Keep away from children.

If the battery leaks and liquid gets into the eye, do not rub the eye. Rinse well with water and consult a doctor immediately. If left untreated, battery fluid can damage the eye.
