A pioneering study is currently underway to better understand the specific injuries and pain experienced by jugglers. The survey is aimed at all individuals who practice juggling, regardless of their skill level or preferred apparatus, and seeks to gather as many testimonies as possible to enrich medical knowledge on the subject.

Injuries related to juggling are often misidentified and poorly managed. Many practitioners find that their pain is misunderstood by healthcare professionals, which can delay treatment. To address this, a team of doctors and surgeons—one of whom is also a juggler—decided to conduct an in-depth investigation with several objectives:
This work is supported by the Parisian Juggling Association and is part of the national research program PEPR ICCARE, within the framework of the "Live Performances" component.
The survey takes the form of an online questionnaire , which should take approximately 30 minutes to complete. It can be completed in several sessions, and all responses are anonymous and confidential. The personal questions are essential to better understand the origin of injuries and the participants' backgrounds.

The data collected will be used to enrich a thesis for a specialization in sports medicine, and the initial results will be presented:
The objective is clear: to offer prevention and care strategies better adapted to the reality of jugglers, so that their practice remains above all a source of pleasure, not pain.
Every contribution is valuable: whether it's a serious injury or a simple recurring discomfort, your testimony can make a difference. Juggling involves intense physical activity, and a better understanding of the impacts of this practice will ultimately improve the medical care provided to movement artists.
