Ile-de-France juggling convention

The Art Ensemble association, in partnership with the APJ (Parisian Juggling Association), is organizing the 2023 Ile-de-France juggling convention from Friday April 28 to Monday May 1, 2023 .

The juggling convention

The convention takes place on a one-hectare site where 6 marquees are set up year-round, with the possibility of camping on site or accommodation in a double room right next to the 1500m2 gymnasium located 500m from the marquees, for €15 per night.

The Cherche-Trouve association hosts the convention

6 marquees: a 398m² show marquee (20x24m, 4 masts), a 326m² white translucent marquee (16x20m, 2 masts), an opaque marquee (20m round, 2 masts), a translucent marquee (15m round, 1 mast) + 2 newly arrived (2 masts)
2 yurts dedicated to various activities (dojo, small circus room, classroom, meeting room, welcoming parents during their children's classes, etc.)
A sanitary area
50m² of office space
150m² of storage and workshops
A 30m² refectory chalet
A 27m² accommodation chalet (for BPJEPS trainees and artists in residence)
A vegetable garden of varying size depending on the year

What is a juggling convention?

The convention is a gathering of jugglers. It's an event where juggling amateurs and professionals come together to celebrate their shared passion. Even if you're not a juggler, you're welcome. You'll be able to learn by participating in workshops and attending shows and concerts. The event is also festive.

Participants can expect a variety of activities such as juggling workshops, juggling demonstrations, juggling games, live juggling shows, and opportunities to meet and chat with other jugglers.

The workshops are led by local people like you and me, professionals and amateurs, there is usually something for all levels of juggling.

Demonstrations and shows can be given by professional jugglers or by amateur jugglers from the community.

In short, the convention is a place where jugglers can gather, train, have fun and share their passion for juggling.
