AcrobatiX – Akadémia vzdušnej acrobacie

AcrobatiX is an academy specializing in teaching aerial acrobatics, located in Bratislava, Slovakia. It welcomes children, teenagers and adults in spaces designed for the practice of aerial disciplines.

The school offers progressive training in aerial silks and hoop, with group classes, individual sessions, and opportunities for independent practice. It also develops a project for young talents wishing to further develop their artistic skills.

A progressive training program in aerial acrobatics

AcrobatiX's regular courses are organized in eight-week cycles , generally with one session per week .

The programs are designed to allow for technical progression from one cycle to the next. Students can thus discover the fundamentals of aerial acrobatics and then progress to more complex exercises.

The beginner , intermediate and advanced groups allow the teaching to be adapted to the experience of the participants.

Aerial silks and aerial hoop

Aerial silks and aerial hoop are the two main disciplines taught.

On fabric, students gradually learn climbing techniques, suspended positions and acrobatic sequences.

Using hoops, they discover the different positions, transitions and movements that allow them to build aerial sequences.

The L1 , L2 and L3 introductory programs combine the two apparatus, with four silk sessions and four hoop sessions per cycle.

Classes for children and adults

Junior classes welcome children aged 8 to 14 .

Beginners can join a first level combining fabric and hoop, then progress to advanced groups.

Adults also have access to courses adapted to different levels, from beginner to experienced practitioner.

The academy offers several time slots during the week, allowing students to choose a time that corresponds to their availability.

Small groups

Group classes generally accommodate a maximum of ten participants .

This organization allows instructors to support students in their progress and to offer corrections adapted to their abilities.

The training includes the development of strength , flexibility , coordination and body control .

Specially equipped studios

AcrobatiX has a main studio located on Tomášikova Street , Bratislava.

This space has a height of over six meters and includes equipment adapted for aerial training, including specialized landing mats.

The academy also indicates that it uses a gymnasium located on Sokolská Street , which is nearly eight meters high. This second space allows for the practice of more demanding aerial movements.

Individual lessons and open training sessions

In addition to group classes, AcrobatiX offers private sessions with an instructor.

These classes may use different apparatus, including silks, hoop, aerial hammock, aerial net or Aerial Moon.

The academy also organizes Open Class sessions, accessible individually, as well as Open Space slots for practitioners wishing to train independently, under supervision.

Internships and activities during the holidays

AcrobatiX organizes acrobatics training courses for young practitioners.

These programs allow for the development of aerial techniques and complement training with gymnastic activities.

They also offer children the opportunity to practice more intensively during school holidays.

A club for young talents

AcrobatiX is developing a specific project for talented young acrobats aged 15 and over .

Created at the initiative of the Vertigo artistic collective, this club offers in-depth training under the direction of experienced acrobats.

It is aimed particularly at young people who already have solid sporting experience, in artistic or rhythmic gymnastics.

Admission is selective and places are limited .

The stated objective is to guide participants towards a high artistic level, which may eventually lead to a professional practice.

A close connection with professional entertainment

The academy maintains links with the Vertigo acrobatic collective, which specializes in aerial shows.

This close proximity allows us to transmit experience from professional artistic practice and to support students in a process of improvement.
