The subjects taught

The disciplines offered are particularly diverse.

An educational approach adapted to each age group

The teaching organization is adapted to the different age groups.

  • From the age of 2 , Circosphère offers parent-child workshops allowing children to discover the first circus sensations in a fun and shared environment.
  • From 4 to 6 years old , children have specific courses designed to develop their motor skills, balance and coordination.
  • The groups for 6-9 year olds and 9-14 year olds allow progression towards more varied exercises and a progressively deeper technical mastery.
  • Teenagers and adults can also join specialist courses, including acrobatics, trampoline or aerial disciplines.

Aerial instruction is organized according to several levels: beginners , intermediate and experienced .

The school also offers a course called Circo-Fourre-tout , bringing together different practices such as teeterboard, acrobatic lifts, juggling, unicycle and tightrope walking.

A non-competitive pedagogy

Circosphère's pedagogy is based on a non-competitive approach.

The goal is to allow each participant to progress according to their abilities, to take on new challenges and to develop their sense of achievement without being placed in a logic of permanent comparison.

The circus thus becomes a way to strengthen self-confidence , concentration , coordination , perseverance and creativity .

Group practice also promotes mutual support, listening, and cooperation.

Artistic creation and stage experience

Circosphère places great importance on artistic creation and stage experience.

The association notably offers La Fabrique à Cirque , a program for students from 8 years old who are already receiving instruction within the school.

This program allows young people to choose a discipline, perfect their technique and learn to design their own acts.

Participants gradually work on building an artistic proposal, alone or in groups, as well as developing their autonomy and stage presence.

The Circus Factory is a first step towards the Animation group , intended for more experienced students.

He participates in events and activities organized by the association.

Each year, Circosphère also organizes a show bringing students together around a collective artistic project.

In 2026 , the PRIMAL show notably explored the origins of movement, balances, acrobatics, suspensions and collective choreography.

Beyond the classroom: demonstrations and social circus

The association also participates in various cultural events in the Jura region.

It offers shows, entertainment, street performances, introductory workshops and services tailored to public or private events.

His activity therefore goes beyond the scope of weekly classes.

Circosphère also develops a section dedicated to social and adapted circus , using circus disciplines as tools to serve educational and human projects.

Workshops can be designed for different audiences, particularly within the framework of educational activities or cultural mediation.

The association also offers introductory courses and training for educators .

Artist residencies and the dissemination of contemporary circus

The centre also hosts artists and companies in residence , contributing to the development of creative projects and the dissemination of contemporary circus in the region.

These residencies promote exchanges between professional artists, students, teachers and the public.

A place with multiple dimensions

Circosphère thus constitutes a place bringing together several complementary dimensions: amateur practice school, space for improvement, support for young artists, social and adapted circus, creation of shows and cultural mediation.

With its annual courses, its many disciplines, its creative pathways and its involvement in the cultural life of the Jura region, Circosphère represents an important structure for the discovery and practice of circus arts in French-speaking Switzerland .
