Circus' Flow is a non-profit circus school located in Quéven, near Lorient. It offers weekly classes from age 3 to adults, as well as holiday workshops, in a popular education approach promoting the discovery of circus arts, social connection and cultural exchange between Brittany and Guinea.
Circus' Flow – Cirque Africain is an association dedicated to the practice and transmission of circus arts, located in Quéven, in Morbihan, near Lorient.
Founded in 2023 , the association aims to make circus arts and culture accessible to the widest possible audience.
His project is part of a youth and popular education approach, where circus practice is considered both as an artistic and physical activity and as a means of promoting encounters, social connection and exchanges between participants.
Circus' Flow welcomes a particularly wide audience since classes start from the age of 3 and continue until adulthood.
The numbers are deliberately limited according to the groups in order to maintain suitable supervision conditions: up to 12 participants for 3-4 year olds, 14 for 5-6 year olds and 16 for older groups.
Classes run throughout the school year , except during holidays.
Circus' Flow complements this regular practice by organizing training courses during school holidays .
These workshops allow children and young people to discover the circus in a more concentrated format or to deepen the learning done during the year.
The association also participates in the local life of Quéven.
It offers introductions to circus arts during events organized in the town, allowing a wider public to discover the practice outside of weekly classes.
Beyond technical learning, the Circus' Flow project has a strong social and cultural dimension.
The association aims to promote socio-cultural and intergenerational exchanges and develop a practice accessible to all.
It also incorporates its operations into a reflection on sustainable development and environmental protection .
The intercultural dimension is one of the distinctive features of Circus' Flow.
The association wishes to promote exchanges between circus performers from Brittany and Guinea .
The term "African Circus" in its name thus reflects a project that is broader than just the organization of leisure courses: the circus also becomes a medium for meeting and exchange between different cultures and circus practices.
This approach is part of the popular education project led by the association.
Circus' Flow aims to use artistic practice to promote encounters, transmission and cultural openness.
The association is still relatively young, having been created in 2023 , but it has already developed a real annual activity.
For the 2026-2027 season, several groups are offered to children, teenagers and adults, with the possibility of participating in a trial class before registering.
The association is also considering developing new time slots to meet the demand from families.
The internships organized during the holidays complement this weekly activity.
Circus' Flow is thus both an associative school for amateur practice and a cultural project focused on popular education, social connection and international exchanges.
Its location in Quéven allows families in the Lorient area to have regular circus activities from the age of 3, with the possibility of continuing the activity into adolescence and adulthood.
The Brittany-Guinea dimension gives the project a special identity, combining learning circus arts, cultural openness, encounters and transmission.
