Circus Firulete – FUFO

Circus Firulete is a circus school for children developed by the artist and educator Daniel Torrón Mack, known by his stage name FUFO. It offers weekly classes during the school year in several schools in Vienna and Lower Austria.

The courses welcome children aged 5 to 13 and allow them to discover many circus disciplines: juggling, diabolo, ground acrobatics, human pyramids, unicycle, stilts, trapeze, aerial silks, balance, magic, pantomime and clowning.

Teaching is based on a playful and participatory approach. After discovering the different disciplines, children are encouraged to choose the activities that particularly interest them in order to progress at their own pace.

The sessions combine group games, technical exercises, creative activities, and the preparation of performances. Participants develop their coordination, balance, concentration, self-confidence, and ability to work in a group.

At the end of the school year, the children prepare a performance for their families. This allows them to discover the different stages of creating a show, from learning the steps to presenting them in front of an audience.

Circus Firulete also organizes circus workshops during school holidays, educational projects in schools and events combining shows and participatory workshops.
