Zirkusschule et voilà is a Swiss circus school located in Neuhausen am Rheinfall , in the canton of Schaffhausen, near the famous Rhine Falls.

Founded in 2006 by Dominik and Miriam Pribil , two trained circus artists with several years of stage experience, it develops a teaching accessible to all ages, based on the pleasure of movement, creativity and the discovery of circus arts.

The school has a room specially designed for circus arts practice, allowing students to be accommodated throughout the year in an environment adapted to the different disciplines.

A multidisciplinary approach

His teaching is based on a multidisciplinary approach. Participants are encouraged to discover several techniques before gradually developing their personal preferences and skills.

The disciplines offered include juggling, diabolo, Chinese plates, hula-hoop, devil stick, acrobatics, trapeze, aerial silks, rope, aerial hoop and unicycle.

Students can also learn different balance techniques: tightrope walking, ball walking, American roller walking and moving on barrels.

Magic, fakir exercises and clowning complement this discovery and allow us to explore the expressive and artistic dimension of the circus.

An alternative pedagogy

The pedagogy of " et voilà" is distinguished by its desire to offer an alternative to sports activities centered on competition and performance.

Learning takes place in a progressive and playful way, in an environment where each participant is encouraged to discover their abilities, identify their limits and develop their confidence.

Group practice also promotes mutual support, cooperation and team spirit.

Classes for all ages

The school welcomes children from kindergarten age onwards, without requiring any prior circus experience. Teenagers and adults can also participate in classes tailored to their level.

A specific activity, called Zirkus-Spielgruppe , also allows toddlers from the age of 2 to discover movement and the world of the circus.

Through a specially designed motor skills course, children experience their first rolls, rotations, jumps, movements, balance exercises and climbing activities.

This initial approach emphasizes body exploration and play, while gradually preparing children for a more structured circus practice.

Internships and performances

In addition to weekly classes, Zirkusschule et voilà organizes workshops during school holidays, particularly in spring and autumn.

These courses allow children to discover several disciplines for a week, to participate in the life of a group and to collectively prepare a small program presented to the public at the end of the session.

Representations are, in fact, a central element of the educational project.

Each year, the school organizes a show under a big top during which the students present the results of their work in front of their families and the public.

This experience allows you to discover the different stages of creating a show: technical learning, rehearsals, coordination between participants, artistic expression and presentation on stage.

The Zirkus-Spielmobil and outdoor activities

The school also develops outdoor activities thanks to its Zirkus-Spielmobil , a mobile unit transporting circus equipment and various games.

This small, mobile circus school makes it possible to organize introductory sessions at parties, demonstrations, and private events.

Children's birthday parties are also offered, with the opportunity to discover different techniques under the supervision of the teaching team.

A school firmly established in the Schaffhausen region

With its multidisciplinary teaching, its early learning activities, its internships, its mobile circus and its annual shows, Zirkusschule et voilà constitutes a firmly established amateur circus school in the Schaffhausen region.

His project combines technical learning, personal development, creativity and the pleasure of sharing a collective artistic experience.
