The Saint-Dizier Socio-cultural Centre offers, among its many activities, a regular workshop dedicated to circus arts. Aimed at children aged 6 to 10 , it allows them to discover circus arts in the friendly and multidisciplinary setting of the centre.

The workshop takes place every Wednesday , excluding school holidays. It is presented as an activity combining skill and expression , with the aim of discovering the spectacular and artistic dimension inherent in circus arts.

Beyond the physical activity, this activity is part of the overall project of the Saint-Dizier Sociocultural Centre. This project aims in particular to develop self-confidence , autonomy and creativity , to promote openness to others and to offer residents a place for meetings, activities and solidarity.

The circus workshop naturally fits into this approach. Circus practice allows children to experiment, develop their body control, and express themselves through movement and play.

The Socio-cultural Centre also develops numerous other artistic, cultural and sporting activities. Theatre, dance, crafts, photography and various physical activities allow children, teenagers, adults and families to participate in the life of the centre.

The circus workshop thus provides an accessible entry point into the circus arts for young residents of Saint-Dizier. It is currently aimed at children aged 6 to 10 and operates as a weekly one-hour session.

It's more of a circus arts workshop integrated into a community center than a specialized circus school. Nevertheless, it offers regular circus arts practice in Saint-Dizier and can therefore be included in a directory of places to learn and practice circus arts.
