Circusluft is a circus and movement school located in Rorschach, in the canton of St. Gallen, Switzerland. Created and directed by Siri Koller , it develops an approach to circus arts centered on aerial disciplines , body discovery and the joy of progress.

The project was born from its founder's passion for the circus, a world that has been with her since childhood and that she now wishes to pass on to practitioners of all ages.

Circusluft welcomes both people who are completely new to circus arts and students who already have experience in an aerial discipline.

The teaching is based on a caring approach, without performance pressure , in which each participant can develop their abilities at their own pace.

Aerial disciplines

Aerial disciplines form the core of the school's activity .

Aerial silks, or Aerial Silk , allows you to work on climbs, figures, suspensions and sequences in the air.

The school also offers Aerial Hammock classes, a discipline using a suspended fabric in the shape of a hammock. Participants explore different positions, rotations, suspensions, and sequences combining movement, strength, flexibility, and body expression.

The courses are organised according to ages and levels , with offerings accessible from kindergarten, others from seven years old, as well as sessions intended for teenagers and adults.

Circusluft is also developing an offering dedicated to body work, balance and physical strengthening, notably through its Body & Balance activities.

Parent-child classes: ElKi

Parent-child classes, called ElKi, also allow younger children to discover the world of the circus accompanied by a trusted adult.

Accessible from the age of two , these workshops combine movement, games, music, ball and fabric manipulation, coordination and early aerial experiences adapted to the age of the children.

They provide a fun introduction to the circus and promote motor development, confidence and moments of complicity between children and adults.

Private lessons and open practice

In addition to group classes, Circusluft offers private lessons allowing you to work on a specific discipline or objective.

These sessions may include aerial silks, aerial hoop, hammock, stretching or floor acrobatics.

The school also provides a free training area for practitioners wishing to further develop their technique independently.

This space has various apparatus and equipment: aerial silks, hoop, aerial rope, hammock, landing mat, hand balance blocks and juggling and flow arts equipment.

Free training sessions encourage interaction between practitioners and allow them to work individually on figures and sequences already mastered.

Internships during school holidays

Circusluft organizes several training courses during school holidays.

Circus weeks for children combine movement, creativity, group games and the discovery of different circus techniques.

These internships are designed as genuine group projects : participants discover new activities, experiment with different disciplines and gradually build a collective presentation.

A weekend performance allows the children to present to their families and loved ones the learning they have done during the internship.

Specialized weeks in aerial silks are also offered to children and teenagers from eight years old.

These courses allow both a first discovery of the apparatus and a deepening of skills for students who already have experience.

Participants work on various technical sequences, including climbs, suspensions, rotations, and different movements.

The Circusluftraum

The school has its own activity space, the Circusluftraum, located in Rorschach.

This space is designed for aerial practice and body work, including mats intended to ensure safe training.

It can also be rented for personal training or classes organized by other instructors.

Circusluft is thus developing a project that goes beyond the framework of weekly classes alone: a specialized school , a training venue , an organizer of courses and a meeting place for enthusiasts of aerial disciplines.

His teaching method places great emphasis on encouragement, patience, self-confidence, and the pleasure of discovering new bodily possibilities.

With its activities accessible from early childhood, its courses for teenagers and adults and its facilities dedicated to aerial arts, Circusluft is a specialist address for amateur circus practice in the Rorschach and Lake Constance region.
