The classes take place at Jatka78 , a cultural space located in the old market of Holešovice, which also hosts the company's creations.

An introduction to the circus from the age of three

The Studio welcomes children from three years old , in groups organized by age range.

The youngest children discover acrobatics through movement, coordination and motor skills exercises adapted to their development.

The following groups allow for a progressive deepening of technical basics, developing strength , flexibility and body awareness .

The teaching prioritizes a progression adapted to the students' abilities and encourages confidence, perseverance and teamwork.

Courses for children and teenagers

The program includes several groups for children aged 3 to 5 , 5 to 8 , 9 to 12 , and teenagers from 13 years old .

The weekly classes allow participants to discover the principles of contemporary acrobatics and to develop the physical qualities necessary for circus practice.

The students are accompanied by experienced instructors, many of whom also participate in the professional shows of Cirk La Putyka.

This close connection with the artistic world allows us to transmit not only physical techniques, but also knowledge of stage work .

The development of young acrobats

CLP Studio develops specific support for young people who wish to take their practice further.

Students can gradually deepen their technical skills and participate in creative projects.

The goal is to allow them to develop personal expression and discover the different stages of constructing a contemporary circus show.

Performance Group: from training to creation

The Performance Group is a collection of young artists selected from within the Studio.

Led by Daniel Komarov , this program allows participants to move from technical learning to a genuine artistic creation process.

The young people work on their stage presence, their body expression and the construction of group acts.

They also discover other dimensions of live performance, including set design , costumes , lighting , sound and music .

This experience provides valuable preparation for young people considering pursuing a demanding artistic practice.

Shows created by students

The Studio places great importance on public performance .

The students participate in Cirko-stráda , a show bringing together young artists from different educational programs.

The Performance Group has also created several original productions, including PADEnáct in 2024 and Hemžení na druhou in 2025.

These projects allow participants to discover the demands of collective creation and to work with performing arts professionals.

Training in contact with professional artists

One of the main features of CLP Studio is its integration into an internationally recognized new circus company .

Students develop in an environment where educational and artistic practices regularly intersect.

The speakers can share their experience of performing, creating, and professional training.

This approach promotes a comprehensive understanding of circus arts , beyond the mere acquisition of technical skills.

Training courses for educators

The Studio also organizes training activities for circus performers.

In collaboration with the CIRQUEON center, he contributes to the development of circus pedagogy and the improvement of teachers' skills.

These initiatives are part of a process of transmission and professionalization of circus management.

The circus for seniors

In partnership with the Elpida center, Cirk La Putyka Studio also develops activities for seniors.

This initiative uses circus practices as a support for movement, coordination, and collective participation.

It demonstrates a desire to make circus arts accessible to different generations.

A professional company associated with the school

Founded following the success of the show La Putyka , created in 2009, the Cirk La Putyka company develops shows combining acrobatics, physical theatre, dance and music.

She performs in the Czech Republic and internationally.

His creative activity directly feeds into the Studio's educational project, which supports a new generation of practitioners and young artists.

A school that bridges amateur practice and artistic development

CLP Studio has a dual purpose : to offer regular introductions to circus arts for children and teenagers, while also guiding some students towards advanced artistic practice.

This is not a degree-granting higher education institution, but a structure with a particularly close link to the professional sector.

Thanks to its artistic guidance, regular courses and creative programs, Cirk La Putyka Studio is an important player in the training of young circus artists in Prague.
