Dansstudio Crescendo – Bree’s Circusstudio

Dansstudio Crescendo is a leading dance and movement school located in Bree, Belgian Limburg. Active for over twenty years , it has developed, alongside its numerous choreographic disciplines, a true Circusstudio dedicated to teaching circus arts.

This offer allows children and teenagers to practice circus arts regularly during the school year, within the framework of structured teaching.

Circus classes are offered from age 7 .

Two levels allow the teaching to be adapted to the experience of the participants: a group for beginners and a group for more advanced students.

This organization allows children who are completely new to the circus to gradually acquire the basics, while offering practitioners with prior experience the opportunity to continue progressing.

A multidisciplinary approach

The courses are based on a multidisciplinary approach .

Juggling is one of the techniques taught and allows for the gradual development of coordination, concentration, precision and perseverance.

Students also discover diabolo and flowersticks , two manipulation disciplines particularly suited to individual progression.

Acrobatics is another important component of the teaching.

It allows participants to develop their body awareness, coordination and mastery of movements while discovering different technical possibilities.

Balance exercises complement this practice and allow students to work on their stability, concentration, and confidence.

Specific unicycle instruction

Crescendo's Circusstudio also offers instruction specifically dedicated to the unicycle .

Accessible from age 9 , this course allows you to gradually learn to master balance and movement on one wheel.

Beginners can start with their first few meters before gradually progressing towards better control of the equipment and learning different tricks .

The school has unicycles available for use during lessons. Participants with their own equipment are also welcome to bring it.

A progressive and creative teaching method

The teaching is provided by Dries , an experienced teacher with a passion for circus arts and movement.

The teaching method prioritizes a gradual and safe discovery of the different techniques.

Beyond learning the figures, the courses aim to develop balance, coordination, concentration and daring.

Creativity also plays an important role.

Students are encouraged to experiment with techniques and develop their own abilities rather than following a logic based exclusively on performance.

Cooperation is also among the values highlighted during the sessions.

Each participant thus has a space to progress according to their level, personality and the disciplines that interest them.

Course organization

Classes are held weekly during the school year.

For the 2026-2027 season, the three groups meet on Mondays : beginner circus, unicycle, then advanced circus.

A scenic and artistic dimension

The practice is also part of the broader artistic life of Dansstudio Crescendo.

The school organizes various shows and presentations each year, allowing its students to perform on stage.

The circus also participates in these events, with presentations allowing students to showcase the techniques and creations they have worked on during the year.
