En Tout Sens is a circus arts school located in Riom, in the Puy-de-Dôme region. Created in 2018, it develops a circus practice accessible from the age of 3 to adulthood, from the first discovery to an advanced practice.

The teaching is based on the major families of circus arts: acrobatics , juggling , object balancing , aerial disciplines and artistic expression .

A practice from a very young age

For younger children, the school offers family activities. Children and adults progress together through courses built around imaginary worlds and playful workshops. Acrobatics, partner acrobatics, trampolining, juggling, object balancing, aerial work, and expressive games allow them to gradually discover the different facets of the circus. From age 3, and then in the various children's and teenagers' groups, students develop their motor skills, coordination, balance, body awareness in space, and comfort with the different apparatus.

The subjects taught

Juggling allows you to work with many objects such as balls, scarves, rings, clubs, devil sticks and Chinese plates.

Balancing acts on objects include pedal boats, stilts, beams, tightropes, and balance balls.

Acrobatics is approached on the ground, on trampolines, and through acrobatic lifts and group practices.

Aerial disciplines occupy a particularly important place within the school. Rope, trapeze, silks, hammock and aerial hoop are among the activities offered.

Specific courses to delve deeper into aerial techniques

In addition to multidisciplinary courses, En Tout Sens offers several courses allowing for a more in-depth exploration of aerial techniques.

An introductory aerial arts course is available for children aged 9 and up. Time slots are also dedicated to trapeze for non-beginners, trapeze and aerial hammock, as well as aerial hoop .

This organization allows students to start with general circus practice before, if they wish, gradually specializing in certain apparatus.

Teenagers and adults also have specific courses allowing them to practice acrobatics, juggling and aerial disciplines, individually or in groups.

Physical preparation and artistic creation

The school also places great emphasis on physical conditioning . Cross-Circus classes combine muscle strengthening with movements from gymnastics and circus arts. Flexibility and stretching sessions also help develop mobility, flexibility, balance, and proprioception.

Artistic creation is another important aspect of the project.

The multidisciplinary courses gradually guide students from the discovery of techniques to their use in a performance.

En Tout Sens also has its own creative troupe . Participants develop a genuine performance project by combining their individual specialties with collective acts of juggling, acrobatic lifts and acting.

This work allows us to approach the practice of circus from an artistic and scenic perspective, beyond mere technical acquisition.

The school regularly organizes shows allowing students to present their work to the public. Some creations may also be presented in performance venues.

Internships, introductory sessions and practice courses

In addition to weekly classes, En Tout Sens offers occasional workshops and introductory sessions. These events allow participants to discover new disciplines or dedicate more time to a particular technique.

Activities such as circus-related family programs and aerial disciplines complement the school's regular activities.

Thanks to the diversity of its courses, En Tout Sens allows you to build a real path of practice : discovery from childhood, multidisciplinary courses, specialization, adult practice, technical improvement and participation in creative projects.

The emphasis placed on aerial disciplines is one of the school's distinctive features, with instruction in trapeze, rope, silks, hammock and aerial hoop.

Juggling, balancing on objects, acrobatics, lifts, trampoline, aerials, expression and creation of shows complete this particularly diverse approach to circus arts.
