Cirque KorKoro is a school and association dedicated to circus arts, based in Toulouse and its surrounding area. It develops its activities at several partner venues in Toulouse, Cugnaux and Balma.

The association has a particularly strong identity centered around aerial circus arts . Fixed trapeze, aerial silks, aerial hoop and rope form an important part of its teaching, with courses adapted to different ages and levels of practice.

Aerial disciplines for all ages

Children can discover aerial disciplines through classes combining silks, trapeze, and hoop. The teaching aims to progressively develop strength , flexibility , coordination , self-confidence , and cooperation .

For teenagers and adults, several levels are available to begin or deepen their practice. Intermediate and advanced classes are designed for those who have already mastered certain technical fundamentals and allow them to delve further into figures, combinations, falls, dynamic movement, composition, and technical exploration.

KorKoro's teaching is not limited to aerial disciplines.

A multidisciplinary and acro-dance approach

The association also develops multidisciplinary introductory courses in circus arts, combining acrobatics, aerial work, object balancing, juggling, and physical expression. This approach allows participants to explore different circus disciplines without immediately specializing in a single apparatus.

Acro-dance is another distinctive feature of the school. This practice combines acrobatic and dance movements, drawing inspiration from circus acrobatics, breakdancing, martial arts, and contemporary dance. The training focuses on mobility, strength, flexibility, spatial awareness, and body awareness.

KorKoro also develops the practice of lifts, acrobatics, and handstands. Open practice areas allow teenagers and adults with sufficient independence to continue training between classes.

Workshops for toddlers and internships

The association also caters to very young children. Monthly "Parents and Toddlers" workshops are offered for children aged 2 to 4 accompanied by a parent. The sessions combine motor skills activities, acrobatics, aerial work, balance, and juggling in an approach adapted to early childhood.

Training courses are also an important part of the activity. KorKoro organizes courses for children during school holidays as well as courses for adults, particularly those focusing on advanced training in aerial disciplines.

The artistic dimension and mediation

Beyond technical training, the association places great importance on the artistic dimension of the circus. Physical expression, research, composition, and creation allow practitioners to go beyond learning a series of figures to develop their own way of moving and presenting their practice.

Open mic nights are held regularly, and a space dedicated to creative support now complements these events. This allows participants to experience performing in front of an audience, develop an artistic proposal, and benefit from an outside perspective on their work.

KorKoro also develops artistic mediation initiatives. The association creates projects with various partner organizations such as schools, community centers, and prevention clubs. Circus arts then become a tool for working on educational and social objectives defined in collaboration with the host organizations.

New features for the 2026-2027 season

For the 2026-2027 season, the offering expands further with new multidisciplinary courses organized at La Grainerie in Balma. One course is for children aged 9 to 12 and another for adults. These workshops combine acrobatics, aerial disciplines, object balancing, juggling, and physical expression.

The adult course organized at La Grainerie also includes places explicitly reserved for people with disabilities, reinforcing the association's commitment to accessibility .

With regular classes, internships, parent-child workshops, free practice slots, mediation actions and creative spaces, Cirque KorKoro thus develops an approach to circus arts ranging from the first discovery to an advanced, autonomous and artistic practice.
