MDK Bielsko-Biała – Cyrkulacje

Cyrkulacje – Otwarte Spotkania Cyrkowe is a regular circus arts program offered by the Miejski Dom Kultury im. Jacka Lecha, in Bielsko-Biała, Poland.

Aimed at children aged 8 and up and teenagers, these workshops allow participants to discover different circus disciplines in a collective, creative and educational setting.

Juggling and object manipulation

Participants discover the basics of juggling and prop manipulation.

The creation of soap bubbles is also among the techniques covered.

A pedagogy integrating social skills

One of the program's distinctive features is the integration of elements from Trening Umiejętności Społecznych (TUS), a Polish approach dedicated to the development of social skills.

The exercises encourage cooperation , mutual support , responsibility , and self-confidence .

Children learn to gradually overcome challenges and understand the importance of consistency in acquiring new skills.

A speaker from the performing arts

The workshops are led by Miłosz Goślicki , juggler, fire dancer and circus entertainer.

He is the founder of Teatr Ognia Tesserakt and the Kapelusznik artistic collective.

He also has experience as a social skills trainer and works with the Polish autism association in Bielsko-Biała.

This dual artistic and educational experience contributes to the particular orientation of the workshops.

Accessible meetings during the school year

The sessions take place every Wednesday and last one hour .

The operation is open: new participants can join the group at different times of the school year, according to the registration procedures.

The establishment does not offer any formal circus training programs. Its program is based on regular amateur instruction .
