Sens Municipal Circus School

The Sens Municipal Circus School is a public structure dedicated to the learning and amateur practice of circus arts.

Directly supported by the City of Sens, it is located within the Savinien Cultural Spaces , a municipal facility dedicated to teaching, practice and artistic creation.

The school offers regular practice of circus arts and allows children and young people to gradually discover different circus techniques in an educational setting.

Its municipal status distinguishes it from the many associative circus schools: registrations and the organization of the activity are directly managed by the services of the City of Sens.

The courses allow you to approach circus arts in a multidisciplinary way and to progressively develop coordination , balance , body control , dexterity and artistic expression .

Circus practice also helps to develop self-confidence , perseverance , autonomy and cooperation with other participants.

Learning is adapted to the age and level of the students in order to allow progress throughout the year.

The municipal circus school is part of the cultural and educational offering developed by the City of Sens for young people from Sens.

It shares the Savinien Cultural Spaces with other artistic and cultural activities. The venue also has spaces dedicated to rehearsal , recording , and performance , allowing teaching and artistic creation to be combined in the same facility.

This location gives the school a cultural dimension that goes beyond the mere physical practice of circus disciplines.

Circus arts are approached as a fully-fledged artistic practice .

Each new season is the subject of a municipal registration campaign .

For the 2026-2027 season, the City of Sens organized registrations during the summer, before the resumption of activities in September.

The municipal circus school thus provides a local option allowing people in Sens to regularly practice circus arts.

Integrated into a municipal cultural facility and directly administered by the City, it participates in the development of artistic education and amateur practice in the Sens region.
