SupAerial Montenegro – Aerial yoga and acrobatics in the Bay of Kotor

SupAerial Montenegro is a program of aerial yoga , acrobatics and suspended artistic experiences developed on the Adriatic coast of Montenegro.

Present in Budva and in the Bay of Kotor , notably in Prčanj , it allows you to discover different aerial practices in complementary environments: a studio space dedicated to private sessions and an outdoor installation offering a view of the sea.

The program is based on the SupAerial Fitness Yoga concept, created in Belgrade by teacher Jelena Mirković .

His approach combines yoga movements, physical preparation, acrobatic techniques, and the artistic exploration of suspended apparatus.

Activities include individual sessions , small group classes , hammock relaxation experiences , and aerial photography projects .

A concept created by Jelena Mirković

SupAerial Fitness Yoga was born from the journey of Jelena Mirković , a teacher specializing in body practices and aerial yoga.

After initial training in classical dance, she turned to physical activities, fitness, yoga and Pilates.

Her interest in movement and physical preparation led her to discover aerial yoga.

She then deepened this practice and developed her own training program, SupAerial Fitness Yoga .

In Belgrade, she created a studio dedicated to suspension work and disciplines combining strength, flexibility and relaxation.

The concept is distinguished by an approach in which physical exercises are associated with the pleasure of movement and creativity.

SupAerial Montenegro extends this experience to the Adriatic coast.

A location in Budva

SupAerial Budva is presented as a space dedicated to private aerial yoga and acrobatics sessions .

Participants can discover suspended movements in a studio environment.

The program allows different techniques to be addressed according to each person's abilities and objectives.

Individual sessions offer the opportunity to work on movements in a personalized way.

The activity combines physical preparation, discovery of the apparatus and exploration of the sensations related to suspension.

SupAerial Bay in the Bay of Kotor

SupAerial Bay offers a different experience, with an outdoor aerial installation located in the Prčanj region.

This space allows you to practice suspension movements in a natural setting, with a view of the Bay of Kotor.

The presence of the sea and surrounding landscapes contributes to the identity of this proposal.

The activities combine aerial techniques with an outdoor movement experience.

The Bay of Kotor thus provides an original environment for discovering suspended apparatus and developing a different relationship with space.

Aerial yoga

Aerial yoga is the core discipline of SupAerial.

It relies on the use of a suspended hammock that accompanies the body during exercises.

Participants discover yoga-inspired movements, combined with suspended positions and physical preparation exercises.

The hammock can be used as a support for stretching, balances and certain inversions.

This practice allows for the exploration of coordination, mobility, and body awareness.

It also offers sensations different from those of yoga practiced on the floor.

Learning combines concentration, control of movements and progressive discovery of the possibilities offered by the apparatus.

The aerial hammock

The aerial hammock, or aerial hammock , occupies an important place in the SupAerial universe.

It is a piece of suspended fabric that allows the body to be supported in different positions.

Participants can perform swinging movements, suspensions, and transitions.

The hammock also offers the possibility of working on inverted positions and sequences inspired by aerial dance.

The practice requires strength, flexibility, and coordination.

It allows physical exercises to be combined with a search for fluidity and body control.

Aerial fabric

Aerial fabric is one of the apparatuses offered as part of the SupAerial Montenegro experiments.

This discipline uses long strips of suspended fabric to perform acrobatic movements and positions.

Practitioners can discover the sensations of suspension and the principles of body control in the air.

Aerial silks require strength, coordination and mobility.

It also possesses a significant artistic dimension thanks to the various possibilities for movement and transitions.

This practice complements the exercises performed in the aerial hammock.

The aerial hoop

The aerial hoop is also among the available equipment.

This suspended circular apparatus allows you to work on balances, body positions and movements in suspension.

The practice requires stability, coordination and a good awareness of body positioning.

The hoop offers possibilities for static figures and fluid transitions.

It can also be used in an artistic and choreographic approach.

Its unique shape allows for the exploration of a different relationship with balance and suspension.

The Moon apparatus

SupAerial Montenegro also mentions an apparatus called Moon among the equipment offered for aerial practice.

This equipment complements the hammock, the fabric and the hoop.

It allows for a diversification of suspended movement experiences.

The presence of several pieces of equipment offers participants the opportunity to discover different sensations and forms of body work.

This variety contributes to the identity of the program, which combines aerial yoga and exploration of acrobatic techniques.

Aerial acrobatics

SupAerial Montenegro combines aerial yoga with an acrobatic dimension.

The exercises can develop strength, coordination, inversions, and body control.

Participants gradually discover movements that require better control of their position in space.

Suspended work allows for the exploration of different bodily orientations.

The approach combines physical preparation and technical discovery.

It offers a complementary experience to traditional fitness and yoga activities.

Private sessions

Private sessions constitute an important part of the SupAerial Montenegro offering.

They can be organized for one person, two participants, or a small group.

This formula allows the experience to be adapted to the expectations and abilities of the participants.

The sessions can be geared towards discovering aerial yoga, physical work or exploring acrobatic movements.

Personalized support promotes appropriate progress.

It also allows more time to be devoted to certain techniques or specific objectives.

Group sessions

SupAerial Montenegro also offers group activities in the Bay of Kotor.

These meetings provide an opportunity to discover aerial practices in a shared environment.

Participants can experience suspended movements and enjoy a unique physical activity.

Practicing in a group promotes interaction and a friendly atmosphere.

It also allows for the sharing of a common experience around movement and aerial disciplines.

Independent practice

The program includes a self-guided practice option, intended for people wishing to use the available equipment.

The equipment mentioned includes the hammock, aerial silks, hoop, and Moon.

This proposal allows practitioners to dedicate time to their own training.

It offers the opportunity to explore movements and sequences already known.

The variety of equipment allows for a diversification of exercises and sensations of suspension.

The development of strength

Aerial sports engage many muscle groups.

Suspended movements engage the arms, shoulders, back and stabilizing muscles in particular.

The exercises help to work on body control and coordination.

Progress is based on regular and appropriate practice.

Aerial yoga thus combines yoga-inspired movements with specific physical work.

This combination is one of the characteristics of the SupAerial Fitness Yoga concept.

Flexibility and mobility

Mobility work plays an important role in SupAerial's activities.

The hammock can accompany certain stretching movements and allow you to explore different body ranges of motion.

The exercises promote awareness of body positioning.

They also allow for working on the fluidity of transitions.

Flexibility complements the development of strength and coordination.

It contributes to the quality of the movements performed on suspended apparatus.

Inversions

Inversions are among the characteristic movements of aerial yoga.

They consist of placing the body in unusual orientations, with the support of the apparatus.

These positions allow you to explore new bodily sensations.

Learning them requires concentration, control, and a suitable progression.

Participants gradually discover how to organize their movements and manage their balance.

Inversions also constitute a transitional element towards certain acrobatic techniques.

Sound baths in a hammock

SupAerial Montenegro offers relaxation experiences called SupAerial Sound Baths .

These sessions combine sitting in a suspended hammock with a sound environment created by different instruments.

Participants can relax in the fabric while listening to the vibrations and sounds provided.

The hammock provides a space for rest and swaying.

This experience emphasizes relaxation, listening, and the discovery of bodily sensations.

It represents a complementary dimension to physical and acrobatic training.

Sound bowls

The program also includes sound massages using bowls.

These experiments are centered on listening and the vibrations produced by the instruments.

They are part of the world of relaxation and body practices developed by SupAerial.

The combination of movement, suspension, and sound experiences contributes to the unique identity of the concept.
