Tűzfészek Társulat

Tűzfészek Társulat , also known as FireNest Troupe , is a Hungarian circus arts company based in Budapest. Active since 2002 , it develops shows of juggling, object manipulation, stilt walking and visual circus, while also offering introductory workshops accessible to children and adults.

One of its main educational activities is the " Kreatív cirkuszi játszóház ," a fun and interactive space dedicated to discovering circus techniques. Participants can try out different juggling props, learn basic moves, and take on skill challenges under the supervision of experienced artists and instructors.

The workshops include object manipulation exercises, coordination games, and balance activities. Participants can discover Chinese plates and other traditional circus props. The aim is to provide a first hands-on experience, even without any prior knowledge .

Tűzfészek offers several formats for its workshops. Performances can last one or two hours, extend over a full day, or be integrated into a festival, workshop, or family event. Programs comprising several workshops also allow groups to discover different circus exercises and games.

The company organizes sessions for adults, particularly as part of group activities and team building. Juggling is used as a tool to develop concentration, coordination, cooperation, and self-confidence.

Beyond its educational activities, Tűzfészek has extensive stage experience. Its repertoire includes traditional juggling, LED light juggling, fire manipulation, visual theatre, and stilt walking performances. These artistic activities demonstrate the diversity of circus practices represented by the company.

Additional services, such as stilt-walking demonstrations, giant bubbles, mime and clown entertainment, can accompany juggling workshops during events.

The educational interventions are designed for different ages and experience levels. They can take place indoors or outdoors, in spaces adapted to the equipment used and the size of the group.

Tűzfészek Társulat is aimed at event organizers, educational institutions, families, and groups wishing to discover circus arts through a participatory experience. It primarily offers mobile and occasional workshops, rather than a circus school with a weekly curriculum in permanent premises.
