The Talent Circus School is an independent school dedicated to teaching circus and performing arts, located in Chavornay , in the canton of Vaud, Switzerland.

The association was founded on May 22, 2015 at the initiative of Leticia Carroli , a professional artist and teacher passionate about the transmission of circus disciplines.

Originally from the Talent region, Leticia chose this name in reference to her local roots, but also to the belief that each person possesses skills that they can discover, develop and express through the practice of circus arts.

After ten years of training at the Lausanne Circus School, she specialized in aerial disciplines, notably vertical rope and aerial silks . She then developed an international artistic career, participating in numerous creations, musicals and circus tours in Switzerland and abroad.

Drawing on this experience and several years of teaching, she created a school in Chavornay allowing children, teenagers and adults to discover circus arts in an environment that is professional, friendly and encouraging.

A learning progression adapted to each individual

The institution offers an educational progression adapted to different ages, levels and objectives.

Toddlers can discover the circus from the age of one thanks to Bambino classes, organized with a parent present. These sessions emphasize play, motor skills activities, group exercises, and exploring the body in space.

From the age of five , children can join the Discovery groups, which offer a first approach to the major circus families.

The Leisure courses then allow participants to practice at their own pace, without mandatory performance goals, while benefiting from a structured learning environment.

For students wishing to progress further, the school offers Beginner groups from seven years old and Advanced groups from nine years old.

Teenagers and adults also have time slots adapted to their level and desires.

A multidisciplinary approach

The teaching is based on a truly multidisciplinary approach, organized around four main families: acrobatics, balances, aerial disciplines and juggling.

Acrobatics

In acrobatics, students can discover ground work, mini-trampoline, trampoline, human pyramids and acrobatic lifts.

The balances

Balance disciplines include unicycle, rolla-bolla, balance ball, tightrope, hand balances and Russian bar.

Aerial arts

Aerial arts also occupy an important place in the identity of the school, in connection with the artistic journey of its founder.

Students can thus discover the trapeze, aerial silks, vertical rope, aerial hoop and swinging trapeze.

Juggling

Juggling complements this offering with the manipulation of balls, hoops, scarves, Chinese plates and diabolos.

This diversity allows practitioners to experiment with different techniques, develop their coordination, flexibility, balance and confidence, and then gradually discover the disciplines in which they wish to invest more time.

Personal development at the heart of pedagogy

The Talent Circus School places particular importance on personal development .

Beyond technique, she wants to enable students to express themselves freely, to better manage their stress, to gain autonomy, to push their limits and to learn to set goals.

Group practice also promotes trust in others, mutual support and sharing.

The school advocates a pedagogy where everyone should be able to find their place, regardless of their level, abilities or ambitions.

Adults are also welcome, particularly through a course open to all levels, accessible from the age of sixteen .

The performance troupe

Another distinctive feature of the establishment is its performance troupe .

Aimed at advanced students aged at least twelve years , it allows young people wishing to become more involved in circus arts to participate in several performances during the year.

Members undergo additional training and participate in rehearsals necessary for the preparation of the creations.

This experience allows them to discover more concretely the work of the stage, the construction of an act and the requirements of a performance in front of an audience.

Internships and supervision

Circus workshops are also organised during school holidays to allow participants to deepen their practice or discover new disciplines.

The training is provided by a team of professionals with complementary backgrounds, including specialists in aerial disciplines, acrobatics, partner acrobatics, juggling and clowning.

The Talent Circus School thus constitutes a particularly comprehensive place for discovery, training and artistic expression.

Thanks to the diversity of its equipment, its educational progression and its performance troupe, it allows both a first playful introduction and a more in-depth commitment to the practice of circus arts.
