Year-round classes for children and adults

The Circus House offers genuine year-round courses for children and adults.

The children's journey

Children can start from the age of 3 with Baby Circus, designed as a first playful discovery of movement and the circus world.

The teaching then evolves through different levels of learning and improvement so that students can progress according to their age and experience.

Beginners discover, among other things, juggling , balancing on objects and the first acrobatic techniques.

These learning experiences allow for the gradual development of coordination , motor skills , concentration , balance and self-confidence .

For more experienced practitioners, the courses allow them to deepen their juggling , acrobatics and balance skills while discovering more specialized techniques.

Contortion and aerial disciplines are also part of the teaching offered.

The most advanced students can continue their progression through workshops that allow them to perfect acrobatic, aerial and juggling techniques.

Clowning and comedy complement this technical approach by introducing a true dimension of expression and stage performance.

Creativity and artistic expression

The Circus House indeed places great importance on creativity .

The goal is not only to master figures, but also to allow each student to develop their artistic personality and find their own way of expressing themselves through circus arts.

Adult classes

Adults also have access to specific instruction .

Aerial courses for all levels are offered in the evening and allow both the discovery of aerial disciplines and the continuation of a practice already acquired.

A school run by professional artists

The school is directly supported by artists from the Bouglione family .

  • André Bouglione notably transmits his experience in juggling and acrobatics , with a particular specialization in diabolo .
  • Agathe Bouglione brings her experience as an aerial contortionist and acrobat , enriched by training in dance and gymnastics .
  • Sandrine Bouglione also participates in the educational and artistic project of La Maison du Cirque, particularly in the field of clowning , theatre and the creation of shows .

This close relationship between teaching and professional practice is one of the school's distinctive features.

Interventions in school and extracurricular settings

The Circus House also develops a significant activity aimed at schools .

It can host or work with groups ranging from kindergarten to middle school for workshops introducing circus arts.

Longer projects can also be built with the institutions, up to the realization of a final performance .

The association also works with leisure centers and offers workshops in aerial circus arts, juggling, object balancing, acrobatics, magic, theatre and clowning.

Accessibility and adapted circus

Particular attention is paid to accessibility .

The Circus House develops adapted circus activities for children and adults with disabilities and can notably work with IME (Medico-Educational Institutes).

The stated objective is to allow everyone to find their place in the practice, regardless of their level, age or abilities.

Theatre and clowning also have a place in the educational project, with an approach that uses laughter and expression as tools for personal development.

Professional creation

Professional creation constitutes the other facet of La Maison du Cirque.

The team develops several shows combining circus , theatre , magic , aerial dance , clowning and juggling .

These creations help to maintain a direct link between the school and professional live performance .

Students thus develop within a structure where teaching , creation and representation are closely linked.

With its weekly classes for children and adults, its different levels of progression, its workshops, its school interventions, its work around adapted circus and its direct link with professional artists, La Maison du Cirque is today a true school of circus arts in Chanteloup-les-Vignes .
