Appropriate physical preparation
The classes include muscle strengthening exercises and stretching.
This physical preparation accompanies the learning of the different circus disciplines.

The production of a show depends on the group's wishes.
A practice location in Ystad
The courses take place in the premises of the Kulturskola located at Spanienfararegatan 2, near the Ystad marina.
This space also hosts the theatre and visual arts activities of the institution.
Organization and registration
For autumn 2026, two groups are offered on Fridays, from 2:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. and from 3:45 p.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The courses run from September 11th to December 11th, 2026 .
The fee is 580 Swedish kronor per semester.
Registration is done through the school via the StudyAlong platform.
Thanks to its teaching which combines juggling, acrobatics, balancing and clowning, Ystads Kulturskola allows young people to discover several facets of circus arts in a municipal setting.
