Features of double rings for bolas:

Material: stainless steel which has the particularity of not rusting.
The 14mm version is thinner, with a wire diameter/thickness of 1mm. The total thickness is 3mm.
The 18mm version is thicker, with a wire diameter/thickness of 2mm. The total thickness is 4.5mm.

NetJuggler's opinion:

These rings are difficult to install because they are hard to open by hand. You will need a small pair of pliers or a screw. With a screw, you can easily spread the ring open to thread a chain or other accessory through it. While they are difficult to open, they are extremely robust and therefore ideal for assembling your fire equipment. Most of the fire bolas on our site are assembled using the smallest size, 14mm.
