PX4 Sirius:
The PX4 club is assembled without staples, tape nor glue. This results in a durable and robust club for an intensive use.
The particularity of this model is its handle which is molded from a rolled handle. That is to say, it has the shape and comfort comparable to a rolled-up handle without its drawbacks. It is much more robust and durable. Having this molded handle also makes it possible to use a plastic that is more pleasant to handle with a light grip. The grip is comfortable but also allows good control of the club.
The central dowel is made of fiberglass. This allows for a more robust structure (much more robust than with a wooden dowel). The advantage of fiberglass is also to be rigid for a juggling comfort comparable to that obtained with a wooden dowel.

Made in Italy by Play, this club is assembled in our premises at NetJuggler in Limousin. Robust, elegant and comfortable to juggle with, it will meet the requirements of professional jugglers. What differentiates the PX4 from the PX3 is the central dowel. On the PX3, it is made of plastic which gives a certain flexibility, and a slight rebound. The PX4 has a fiberglass dowel, which gives it a rigid structure while being more robust than wood. The PX4 is also 10 grams lighter than its equivalent PX4 model.

Qu"apporte de plus la fibre de verre ? Est-elle si solide que ça par rapport au bois par exemple
La fibre de verre est en effet plus robuste que le bois. La sensation en jongle se rapproche de celle du bois. C'est rigide au niveau de la sensation dans la main contrairement au PVC qui apporte une certaine flexibilité. C'est avant tout une question de goût.

Différence entre une poignée/manche moulée et roulée
En ce qui concerne l'épaisseur et la forme, c'est exactement la même chose. Les différents manches n'ont pas d'influence sur le centre de gravité de la massue. On pourrait dire qu'il n'y a pas une grosse différence.
- Le manche qu'on appelle manche moulé est lisse.
- Le manche qu'on appelle roulé, à un relief dessus. Il permet d'obtenir la même sensation qu'un manche roulé, autrefois fabriqué à partir d'un plastique plat qui était enroulé autour de la massue.
Pourquoi s'orienter vers un manche de massue roulé ?
Beaucoup de jongleurs sont d'accord pour dire que le manche avec la forme roulée n'apporte pas énormément à la massue, c'est avant tout une question d'habitude. Par contre les jongleurs qui jonglent depuis des années avec des manches roulés et qui n'ont jamais trop essayé de jongler avec d'autres massues, ont du mal à passer à un manche lisse.
C'est mon cas par exemple, depuis que j'ai six ans j'ai jonglé avec des massues avec manche roulé, et la transition vers un manche lisse ne m'attire pas du tout. C'est un confort et une prise en main que je ne souhaite pas voir disparaitre. Pourtant j'ai beaucoup jonglé avec toutes sortes de massues, je reviens toujours sur des massues avec manche roulé. Beaucoup de jongleurs qui ont un niveau très élevé ne partage pas forcément mon point de vue :-).
