Qu-Ax 25.4 mm seat tube for unicycle

This Qu-Ax seat tube allows you to replace a worn, bent or too short tube on your unicycle. It is available in several lengths to suit different body types and uses. and to the needs for adjusting the seat height.

This sheet lists four models available as options: 200 mm , 350 mm black , 400 mm black and 700 mm chrome . All these models have a diameter of 25.4 mm , a standard used on the majority of Qu-Ax unicycles.

On Qu-Ax brand unicycles, the 25.4 mm diameter is used on almost all standard models. If you own a unicycle of another brand, be sure to check the diameter before ordering.

Check compatibility with your unicycle

Before ordering your seat tube, Remember to check the inner diameter of your fork tube. unicycle . The most common diameters are 21.9 mm, 22.2 mm, 25.4 mm and 27.2 mm.

To take this measurement correctly, ideally use a caliper. The outer diameter of the seat tube must match the inner diameter of the frame. A small difference in measurement can be enough to prevent assembly.

What length should I choose?

The 200mm seat tube is a short model. It is generally intended for children. for small riders or unicycles where the saddle must remain very low.

The 350mm seat tube length is suitable for most users and allows for comfortable adjustment. on many unicycles.

The 400mm seat tube offers more adjustment range. It is particularly useful for tall people, unicycles shared between several users or when the saddle needs to be mounted higher.

The 700mm seat tube is a very long version. It can be useful for specific builds. for significant adjustment needs or to be precisely cut to the desired length.

Upon receipt, if your tube is too long

If the seat tube is too long for your needs, you can shorten it using a tube cutter. or a hacksaw. Remember to deburr the cut cleanly before reassembling the saddle.
