CIRKAO stilts are made of cast aluminum. They are assembled by cold welding.

The pivoting calf support provides comfort during long walks because it allows the calf attachment to adapt more naturally to leg movements.

Features :

The straps around the calves and feet ensure a secure fit using snowboard straps. This provides precise support for optimal safety and comfort when using the stilts.
The calf rotation system is equipped with an anti-unscrewing ring.
The calf tube is height-adjustable, it adjusts perfectly to the size of the calf.

For more dynamic use, you can add talc between the quillon and the nylon tip to make the rotation of the quillons smoother.

Stilt safety:
CIRKAO stilts are to be used only for walking.
Before each use:

Check that the shoes are properly fastened.

Check the condition of the fasteners.

Check the connections of the various screwed and glued elements.

Check the overall condition of the molded central element.

Knee pads and wrist guards are mandatory.

Assembling CIRKAO stilts:

CIRKAO stilts are generally delivered pre-assembled.

To assemble the extensions , remove the screw and then the white nylon tip with the rubber pad. Remove the PVC ring using the bent metal piece provided (keep both pieces). Position the white tip (without the PVC ring) in the extension and screw it in.

The extra holes that may seem unnecessary are intended for the assembly of different kits (ice kit).

For what type of practice?

These stilts are designed for introductory sessions, strolling, or performances. For beginners, the 50cm height is the most suitable and practical for indoor performances where ceilings are low. Most performers use the 50cm version and combine it with extensions to reach 90cm, the height most commonly used by performance companies.

A question we are regularly asked about the use of stilts for services in ski resorts, for example: can you use stilts on snow?

There are terrains where stilt walking becomes technical, such as on snow. In these conditions, it's best to opt for slow, deliberate walking. You'll lift your knees higher and use your upper body much more.

For performances on cobblestones or slippery surfaces, opt for small steps with movements at the level of the pelvis.
