These handsticks are very basic. For those of you who want to discover the diabolo practice, these handsticks are perfect. No need to spend more if it's just for fun !

If you intend to spend a lot of time practicing, beware of the blisters. The wood seriously lacks comfort ! Opt for aluminum handsticks in that case.

These handsticks are ideal for beginners and experienced diabolists.

How to choose your handsticks ?

You can execute almost every trick whatever the handstick you choose.

• Beech wood handsticks are strong and powerful, they are widely used in schools and associations.
• Aluminum handsticks are rigid. Beginners' favorite because they are thin and therefore excellent to make slide / grind tricks that last very long. They are also widely used by demonists who practice intensively.
• Carbon handsticks are flexible diabolo handsticks. They are used to practice with several diabolos in order to better absorb the fall of the diabolos. They offer extra comfort compared to aluminum handsticks.
• The fiberglass handsticks are very light. The lighter the handsticks, the more you can feel the diabolo on the string. On the same principle as the carbon baguettes, they are slightly flexible for more comfort.

Set the string on your diabolo:

To practice the diabolo, an important point is the length of the string. The length depends on your size and also on your preferences. There's no typical length !

That being said, for children, we put a total length of string that goes from the foot to the shoulder. For teens - adults, we put a slightly shorter length going from the foot to the armpit.

To find the length you prefer, do several tests and, as soon as it feels good, keep it that way !
