Ha Ha Ha! Aluminum is a flexible metal. While this item isn't designed to be bent, it could be due to its flexibility. I'm preparing quotes for the drill bit information.
Be careful, however, that the wick does not burn on its own. You will need to soak it with de-aromatized petroleum. If you use other products, you risk your wick lasting less.
