Fire Whip - Gora

Whip sold individually . Fully equipped with Kevlar and wick at the end.
Exactly what you need to finish your fire show in style with a wow effect!
Professional and durable equipment. The whip is designed with 5 different thicknesses of Kevlar cords so that the thickness of the whip tapers towards its tip. The whip ends with the wick at the end (this is the part that cracks).
The wick at the end of the whisk is the part that wears out and needs replacing. The handle is long for safety reasons. It's made of aluminum coated with silicone, which acts as a thermal insulator. You'll find Kevlar wicks sold individually on our website. We recommend ordering a few spares with your whisk.
NetJuggler's review of the Gora whip
One of the most robust fire whips: this means that you will get between 50 and 100 uses from this whip before it starts to wear out. And to get this longevity, you will need to carefully read and follow the instructions for using the whip further down on this page.
Fire Whip Video:
Between the handle and the Kevlar rope, a round silicone piece provides thermal protection.
Features of the whip:
- Whip length: 2.50m.
- 5 different thicknesses of Kevlar ropes.
- Assembly: seams with Kevlar thread.
- Handle: Aluminum with silicone grip/insulator.
Directions for using the flaming whip:
Do not use the unlit whip for training. Unlit use will cause premature wear of the Kevlar fibers that make up the whip.
It's not necessary to soak the entire Kevlar rope. Even if you soak only part of the whip, the visual effect is impressive. Don't soak it all the way to the handle; the significant heat generated could injure you, and there's a real risk of damaging the whip handle.
Don't soak the "fall" of the whisk. This is the part located just after the wick (the wick being the thinnest part at the very end of the whisk, it's the one that snaps). Soaking this fall risks damaging the whisk, and soaking it will not enhance the visual effect in any way.
Do not place the whip on the ground while it is burning. If you place it on cement, stone, or metal, these surfaces will heat up, and the flames will damage the Kevlar.
Do not hit or slide your whip while moving against the ground, as with all Kevlar fire equipment, this will damage the Kevlar very quickly, especially if you hit it against concrete/bitumen, or gravel for example.
NetJuggler recommends the use of de-aromatized petroleum (not supplied). Most other fuels will damage Kevlar.
Always thoroughly check that each part of your whip is in good condition before use. Do not use it if it is damaged, even slightly. A damaged part can cause it to detach and fly into your audience.
The Fall of the Whip
The fall on a whip is the part before the wick. If this part gets damaged, it's because you're not using your whip correctly. Don't soak this part and don't hit the ground with your whip :-)... I know I'm repeating myself...
