Yoyo N9 Floating Cloud

Irresponsive yo-yo, sold individually, with a string.
Magic Yoyo's N9, for 1A, 3A or 5A:
The Floating Cloud is slightly undersized but has a significant mass for its size, giving it good inertia. It is thus well balanced with its masses concentrated on the outside of the yo-yo.
The high-end Hubstacks of this model open up new possibilities for tricks (they are reminiscent of the Z-stacks from YoYoFactory).
NetJuggler's opinion on the Floating Cloud yo-yo:
The unicolour version presented on this page has a sober design. If, however, you are looking for a design that is a little more flashy and original, check out the N9 Splash bicolour yo-yo. It has exactly the same characteristics as the one shown here.

Can't it go back up by doing an upward impulse?
Exactly. This yo-yo is irresponsive. This means it won't spring back with a flick of the wrist. You'll need to bind it to spring back.
Good morning,
Which string is best suited for N9 floating?
My child's one obviously doesn't fit (very thin, never rides up)
The N9 will never go up unless you do a trick called a bind, which involves doubling the yo-yo string so that it can go up.
You can find videos on the internet that explain this figure. This type of yo-yo is not for beginners. Also, be careful if you are a beginner to adjust the length of your string correctly (from the ground to the navel of the person practicing) otherwise the yo-yo risks hitting the ground.
Since aluminum is a flexible metal, this yo-yo should never hit the ground, as it could become deformed. All the strings we sell on our site work with this yo-yo.
I bought this yoyo thinking of my childhood, but now I realize that it doesn't go back up like the ones from my childhood. Can you help me learn how to use it? I'm completely lost lol. Thanks for your answers because for the moment I just received it and it really put me off!!
Sincerely, tmaltom
You should learn how to do a bind. This is the trick that allows the yo-yo to go up. Afterwards, you'll see that the possibilities of tricks that can be performed with this type of yo-yo are quite incredible.
Search "yoyo bind" on the internet, you should find many videos that explain how to do the bind. If you can't do it, then give us a call, we'll explain it to you over the phone and give you some tips :-)
Which yo-yo do you recommend for doing tricks? I already know how to do them.
BIG THANK YOU
If you're already practicing 1A, then the entire Magic Yoyos range is excellent. Each yoyo has its own unique features and allows you to practice at a high level.
If you're just starting out and are new to 1A and therefore unresponsive yoyos, then the K1 Spin yoyo is definitely the best place to start. It's more robust than metal yoyos and will therefore be less susceptible to beginner shocks!
