Hydra fire flower stick

This fire stick is sold individually without its controlsticks (be sure to order some separately if you don't already have any).
Hydra fire flower stick:
The specificity of the HYDRA fire flower stick is to be heavy for good balance and good inertia. It is equipped with silicone flowers to concentrate the masses at the ends of the stick and protect the grip from the flames. Its coating is made of foam to absorb shocks and fluidify movements and control with the sticks ( sold separately ).
The X-Grip is made of a non-slip layer which provides maximum adhesion to the controlsticks while giving a good aesthetic finish to the flower stick.
- Play has combined durable but also very interesting materials so that the stick has a good grip with the controlsticks but also in the hand. The innovation is to use the X-GRIP, a heat-shrink tubular handle capable of withstanding high temperatures.
- Unlike silicone, if accidentally contacted with petroleum, it will retain its grip and will not become slippery . For maximum comfort, a layer of 2mm EPDM foam is first applied under the X-GRIP which is stuck firmly to the T6 type aluminum tube. This guarantees excellent insulation against heat and perfect softness to absorb shocks.
- To solidify the whole, a structure made from the same composite as that used in the PX3 clubs is placed inside the tube.
- Finally, Kevlar wicks are 100% pure Kevlar wicks for optimal durability. This is a wick whose braiding has been designed to optimize its absorption capacities.
NetJuggler's opinion on the Hydra fire stick:
If you are a practitioner demanding on the quality of the material you use, here is a stick that will not leave you indifferent.
Made in Italy by Play, this stick is one of the best you can buy right now. Its weight gives it a good inertia and the materials which compose it are of quality. We particularly appreciate the grip which is flexible while having an optimal grip which allows to have excellent control over the stick. Compared to a silicone grip, there is greater flexibility.

Basically I juggled a bit hard with an aluminum stick + homemade canvas grip, here we have impeccable comfort, suitable for an intense spin as well as a more relaxed game and a little contact. For the heavy aspect it all depends on habits, if you are used to cones or fairly long fire sticks, the Hydra is rather light, if you are used to small flowers indeed... it changes go rather on a Gora ^^
Note following a first ignition: Opinion more than confirmed, we feel 100% confident with this Devilstick, the grip and the balance have a lot to do with it but in my humble opinion we have the best fire stick for its category, next year we try a Gora (just to vary the categories) ^^
The aluminum rod warped slightly after the first use without igniting it, just on the first try. Disappointing.
Good morning,
As with all fire sticks (flower sticks, staffs, etc.), it is possible that impacts on hard surfaces such as asphalt may cause deformation, particularly at the ends. This remains a common phenomenon with this type of equipment.
However, to properly assess the situation, I would need some clarification: is it a simple mark or a more significant deformation that compromises the use of the equipment?
I invite you to send us some photos by email so that we can examine the problem in more detail and find the best solution.
You can also contact us by phone if you prefer to speak to us in person (our contact details are at the top of the site).
In any case, photos will help us better analyze your case.
The grip is really nice, the stick still rolls a little on the chopsticks. On the other hand, the tape that sticks to the flowers is not at all suitable, it came loose after 3/4 of the fire.
Hello, having misread the details of the article, I was surprised when I opened my package, finding that there was only the stick, without the rods. I looked on your site and you have a choice regarding the material (silicone, fiberglass etc...), so my question is: which rods would be most suitable for this hydra stick, material-wise? Thank you.
In any case, with a fire stick, you'll need silicone-coated chopsticks. All the chopsticks we offer on our site are silicone-coated.
Wooden silicone chopsticks
Wood is a rigid material, which means that the orders you give to the sticks will be "direct"
Silicone fiberglass rods
Fiberglass is more robust than wood, so the sticks will last longer. The balance is better than that of wood if you throw your sticks. So if you "juggle" with your sticks in your practice, the sensation, the rotation in the air, and the grip will be more pleasant.
Flexible silicone chopsticks
The flexibility of the sticks brings agility to practice. Among serious jugglers, some love it, and others hate it. So it's difficult to recommend this model to you; it would be risky for me! It's quite interesting for bouncing and if you throw your stick. You could say that it adds comfort and flexibility but that it takes away precision from stick control.
