Hydra fire flower stick

The HYDRA fire flower staff has been updated with the integration of 7075 aluminum, an aircraft-grade alloy offering significantly greater mechanical strength than the classic T6. This upgrade enhances a prop already renowned for its stabilizing inertia (340g) and its PX3 tubular internal structure. Designed for professionals, the Hydra is the ultimate instrument for intensive handling and high-level stage performances.
X-GRIP Innovation and Ergonomics
The Hydra features a heat-shrink X-GRIP coating over a layer of EPDM foam. This combination provides perfect cushioning for catching sticks while remaining unaffected by oil. Inside, the 7075 aluminum tube is reinforced by the Compound CORE system (PX3 club technology), creating a one-piece assembly capable of dissipating impact energy without bending.
NetJuggler's review
"The switch to 7075 aluminum places the Hydra at the top of the fire flower staff hierarchy. Its mass of 340g, combined with absolute rigidity, allows for incredibly precise trajectories. It is a 'heavy' staff in the best sense of the word: it does not suffer its environment, it dominates it."
Chopsticks Advice
Sold individually without sticks . We recommend using silicone-coated sticks to withstand licking flames. Power Flower fiberglass sticks are an excellent choice for managing the inertia of this stick.
Fuel Guidelines
The choice of fuel impacts the lifespan of the Kevlar and the cleanliness of your combustion.
- Deodorized petroleum (Kerdane)
- Paraffin or lamp oil
- Barbecue lighter fluid (hot combustion)
- "Firewater"
- Gasoline / Gasoline (Danger of explosion)
- White spirit (Destroys fiber and produces toxic fumes)
- Alcohols / Methanol (Destructive chemical reaction)
- Diesel (Grip fouling and harmful fumes)

Basically I juggled a bit hard with an aluminum stick + homemade canvas grip, here we have impeccable comfort, suitable for an intense spin as well as a more relaxed game and a little contact. For the heavy aspect it all depends on habits, if you are used to cones or fairly long fire sticks, the Hydra is rather light, if you are used to small flowers indeed... it changes go rather on a Gora ^^
Note following a first ignition: Opinion more than confirmed, we feel 100% confident with this Devilstick, the grip and the balance have a lot to do with it but in my humble opinion we have the best fire stick for its category, next year we try a Gora (just to vary the categories) ^^
The aluminum rod warped slightly after the first use without igniting it, just on the first try. Disappointing.
Good morning,
As with all fire sticks (flower sticks, staffs, etc.), it is possible that impacts on hard surfaces such as asphalt may cause deformation, particularly at the ends. This remains a common phenomenon with this type of equipment.
However, to properly assess the situation, I would need some clarification: is it a simple mark or a more significant deformation that compromises the use of the equipment?
I invite you to send us some photos by email so that we can examine the problem in more detail and find the best solution.
You can also contact us by phone if you prefer to speak to us in person (our contact details are at the top of the site).
In any case, photos will help us better analyze your case.
The grip is really nice, the stick still rolls a little on the chopsticks. On the other hand, the tape that sticks to the flowers is not at all suitable, it came loose after 3/4 of the fire.
Hello, having misread the details of the article, I was surprised when I opened my package, finding that there was only the stick, without the rods. I looked on your site and you have a choice regarding the material (silicone, fiberglass etc...), so my question is: which rods would be most suitable for this hydra stick, material-wise? Thank you.
In any case, with a fire stick, you'll need silicone-coated chopsticks. All the chopsticks we offer on our site are silicone-coated.
Wooden silicone chopsticks
Wood is a rigid material, which means that the orders you give to the sticks will be "direct"
Silicone fiberglass rods
Fiberglass is more robust than wood, so the sticks will last longer. The balance is better than that of wood if you throw your sticks. So if you "juggle" with your sticks in your practice, the sensation, the rotation in the air, and the grip will be more pleasant.
Flexible silicone chopsticks
The flexibility of the sticks brings agility to practice. Among serious jugglers, some love it, and others hate it. So it's difficult to recommend this model to you; it would be risky for me! It's quite interesting for bouncing and if you throw your stick. You could say that it adds comfort and flexibility but that it takes away precision from stick control.
