Reception mattress

This landing mattress is designed to provide optimal safety during circus, gymnastics, or physical training activities. Made in France by Sarneige, it is composed of 23kg/m3 polyester foam and a vinyl tarpaulin cover. This polyester-coated cover, weighing 650g, is equipped with a pressure relief grid, carrying handles, a zipper, and a non-slip base, ensuring safe and comfortable use.

Note regarding use with aerials

To date, there are no official standards or regulations regarding the use of landing mattresses for the practice of aerial disciplines.

The French Federation of Circus Schools (FFEC) does, however, make recommendations: it recommends the use of landing mattresses with a minimum dimension of 2 m x 2 m, with a thickness of 20 cm or 40 cm depending on the height at which the activity is carried out.

It is also worth noting that only one manufacturer in Italy currently offers a mattress certified for working heights below 4 meters.

It is important to remember that even when complying with the specifications recommended by the FFEC, the risk of serious or fatal accidents cannot be completely ruled out. Using a mattress does not guarantee absolute safety.
