Product evolution according to colors:
The black and phosphorescent handles correspond to the new generation developed by the manufacturer for fire and intensive use.
Regarding these new versions:
- the material used is TPE (and not silicone), offering better resistance to fuel emissions;
- the handle hole is now only 10 mm ;
- an internal adaptation system then allows the use of either a 6 mm or 10 mm cord/silicone.
When you choose the 6 mm or 10 mm option on the black and phosphor colours, this corresponds to the supplied adapter system , and no longer to the diameter of the hole in the handle itself.
The other colors still correspond to the old version, with a directly molded 6mm or 10mm hole depending on the model chosen. The manufacturer is gradually migrating the entire range to this new design.
Handle for bolas:
Handle to personalize your juggling bolas, contact bolas or fire bolas.
With its soft, slightly peach-skin feel, this handle offers an excellent grip for all types of bolas. Its relatively substantial weight also allows it to act as a counterweight, particularly appreciated for certain manipulation techniques and for contact bolas.
These handles are compatible with assemblies using silicone or rope, depending on the diameter chosen.
Features of bola handles:
- Outer diameter of a handle: 40 mm.
- Mass of a handful: approximately 30 grams.
- Diameter of the node housing: 15 mm.
- Previous version: 6 mm or 10 mm hole depending on the model chosen.
- New version (black and phosphorescent): single 10mm hole with internal 6mm or 10mm adapter supplied.
- Compatible with cords and silicones for bolas.
- Item sold individually.
NetJuggler's opinion:
These handles are particularly pleasant to use thanks to their soft, slightly grippy surface. They offer better comfort and a better grip than the classic PVC handles found on some bola models.
The new black and phosphorescent version seems particularly interesting for fire practitioners thanks to its better resistance to fuel fumes.
Replacing or adjusting the handles remains very simple: just untie the knot to adjust the rope length or replace the handle.
The photo above shows the old system where a knot was tied. The black, phosphorescent handle has a mechanism with an integrated screw that allows you to easily secure your rope inside the handle in a "cleaner" way than with a simple knot on the rope.
People who bought this item also bought the following items
éoZoé stage ball, peach skin finish, 90/100mm
To begin contact juggling or to manufacture your poi. 170g. Made in France.

Handle tested with a 10mm semi-static climbing rope. Lots of play in the handle. I was able to correct this by adding a layer of electrical tape to wedge the rope into the metal ring in the middle. But if you want to follow the NetJuggler tutorial for DIY Poi, take the 6mm handles
Hello, I would like to know the weight of one of these handles.
Thanks in advance!
A handful of silicone bolas like this weighs about 30 grams.
Hello
I would like to know the dimensions...diameter of the ball and the hole please
THANKS
I've put together a little cross-sectional diagram for you... I did it a bit "quickly". It's not necessarily to scale, but it should answer your questions about dimensions :-)
Hello, can we use these handles on fire bolas?
THANKS :)
Yes, it is entirely possible to use these handles on fire bolas since silicone has the property of melting at high temperatures (this is the silicone used for dishes and molds in the kitchen, for example). You will need to plan an adaptation to fix them on your fire bolas (a little DIY is required).
We have many customers who use them on their fire bolas. And we also have many customers who use them for other uses than juggling (stands, tips, etc.) :-)
Great, thank you very much :)
How to choose colors? Sold individually, not in pairs?
Simply select the color from the options. Please note, however, that these handles are sold individually.
Good morning,
I would have liked to know what is inside the tip, so that I know how to hang the rope.
Thanks in advance
Inside the handle is a metal washer. Simply tie a knot behind this washer. The knot will fit neatly into the handle.
