Phosphorescent Pro Gaff tape for your hula hoops

Phosphorescent hula hoop tape:

This tape recharges in the light and then emits luminosity in an environment without light. We can give it many different uses: stage marking, delimitation of backstage stairs, costumes, accessories ... It also has a very good reaction to black light (UV). It is as sticky as the other Pro Gaff tapes, however it has a smooth finish which grips a little less but which makes it more durable (especially when used outdoors).

This tape is suitable for using on Hula Hoops. It can also be used for the center of the clubs to make the connection between the handle and the body, but the 25mm version may be a little too wide. For clubs, we have a more suitable model, the Tesa 19mm tape (it is not phosphorescent however).

This tape can have many different uses.

How to apply the tape?

To apply it, you must first lay a length of a few centimeters, then maintain pressure by pulling on the roll while you lay it down. If you pull too much, the tape can break. This tape is not elastic, it will be difficult to follow shapes that are not flat (with x and y twist). It will have excellent performance if you have a rounded surface (only on an axis like on a hula hoop).

If you can, heat the tape slightly once it is in place, this will set the glue for a better hold. For example, on clubs, squeeze them very tightly between your thumb and forefinger where the tape is applied and rotate the clubs until heat is released with the friction. This may sound amateurish, but if you have nothing to heat (contactless), it's terribly efficient! You can do the same on a hula hoop.
