Circus Night
Every autumn, La Nuit du Cirque transforms France into a vast stage dedicated to circus arts. For its 8th edition, on November 13, 14 and 15, 2026, this national event invites the general public to discover the full richness of contemporary circus through several hundred events organized simultaneously throughout the country.
Initiated by Territoires de Cirque with the support of many partners, including the French Federation of Circus Schools (FFEC), La Nuit du Cirque highlights an art in constant evolution, mixing technical prowess, artistic creation, theatre, dance, music, juggling, acrobatics, aerial arts, clowning and hybrid disciplines.
For three days, circus schools, companies, big tops, theaters, cultural venues, and local authorities open their doors to offer a diverse program accessible to all audiences. Shows, original creations, cabarets, public rehearsals, discovery workshops, meetings with artists, exhibitions, conferences, and backstage tours allow visitors to discover the many facets of contemporary circus.
Beyond the performances, La Nuit du Cirque also affirms the values upheld by the sector: transmission, sharing, inclusion, cultural diversity, environmental commitment, intergenerational openness and access to culture for all.
Whether you are passionate about the circus, a juggling enthusiast, a performing arts professional, or simply curious, this event offers a unique opportunity to discover artists from all over France and to experience original moments up close to circus creation.
