This tape is designed for use with aerial equipment . It is used for trapeze bars as well as to cover your aerial hoops. You can also use it to create a fabric grip on hula hoops .

How to apply tape?

To apply it, you first need to apply a length of a few centimeters, then maintain pressure by pulling on the roll while you apply it. If you pull too hard, the tape may break. There is a slight knack to take. This tape is not elastic, it will have difficulty conforming to shapes that are not flat (with an x and y twist). It will perform excellently if you have a rounded surface (only on one axis like on a hula hoop and aerial hoop).

No. Powder-coated/painted finishes already provide good grip. Tape provides comfort, a softer temperature, and customization.

>What width should I choose?

2.5 to 3.8 cm to facilitate a wrinkle-free installation. The 5 cm requires more skill.

>How many rolls?

1 standard roll is usually enough. But plan on 2 rolls if you want a thicker layer, if your tube is wide or for reinforcements. If you want to overlap the tape, it is important to take 2 rolls. Knowing that you can also make overlayers if you take 2 rolls and you can also make patches/repairs.

>The tape is sticky at first, is that normal?

Yes. Lightly dust with chalk, then do your first sessions (warm-up, basic tricks): the tape will lose its excess stickiness and reach its optimal grip.

>Can I wash the tape?

Avoid water/products: use a dry cloth instead. Replace as soon as it becomes lint-free or shiny.

>Gloves, resin, sprays?

Use sparingly: they clog, reduce the life of the tape and change the feel.
