Swivel open Petzl

Swivel OPEN Petzl, mounted on bearings:

Openable aluminum swivel on ball bearings allowing the rotation of the fabric and the ropes avoiding the twisting and mixing of the silks or ropes. To be mounted above the aerial apparatus, on the main attachment or on a carabiner as well as on the hook.

This accessory can be associated with a wide variety of items (pulleys, lanyards ...) thanks to its wide opening of 14mm. It will prevent you from having lots of carabiners on your installations.

Swivel designed to reduce the size and weight of your built-up systems. It also solves the problems of twisting and tangling of ropes and lanyards in different situations:

• Hoisting: avoids twisting the ropes when the load spins on itself, thus limiting the stranding.
• Reeving: eliminates the risk of friction between the ropes, which improves the efficiency of the hauling.
• Progression with a lanyard: avoids twisting and simplifies handlings.

This Petzl model guarantees excellent performances and reliability thanks to the sealed, maintenance-free ball bearings.
