Discover Odyssey, the brand new creation from Cirque Phénix, a spectacular show celebrating the richness and virtuosity of Chinese acrobatic arts. From November 28, 2026, the world's largest big top will host a spectacular journey in Paris, featuring the 40 Stars of the Beijing Circus, exceptional artists renowned worldwide for their technical mastery, grace, and creativity, before embarking on a major tour of France's Zénith venues.
Originating in China over 5,000 years ago, the acrobatic arts constitute one of the oldest traditions of live performance. With Odyssée, Cirque Phénix revisits this millennia-old heritage in a universal creation blending tradition, modernity, and emotion. Spectators are invited to experience an extraordinary visual and sensory adventure, a succession of breathtaking scenes enhanced by spectacular set design, immersive lighting effects, sumptuous costumes, and a captivating soundtrack.
On stage, the 40 Stars of the Beijing Circus deliver a series of exceptionally precise performances: aerial acrobatics, dizzying balances, virtuoso juggling, object manipulation, feats of strength, human pyramids, contortion, dance, and group choreography blend together in a rhythmic spectacle where each act pushes the boundaries of what is possible. Heirs to a tradition passed down through generations, these artists offer an impressive demonstration of mastery, discipline, and artistry.
The show opens with an impressive nine-minute tableau that pays homage to one of the greatest icons of world popular music by revisiting one of the most famous music videos of all time through spectacular acrobatic staging. From the very first minutes, Odyssée immerses the audience in a dazzling world where the power of the visuals rivals the physical feat.
Designed to delight all generations, Odyssée caters to families, circus enthusiasts, fans of spectacular shows, groups, associations, businesses, and schools alike. Special offers are available for employee works councils, groups of 10 or more, and primary and secondary schools, with dedicated sessions and optional educational support.
The show is presented under the prestigious big top of the Cirque Phénix, a true international institution. Located on Place du Cardinal-Lavigerie in the 12th arrondissement of Paris, it is easily accessible, just three minutes from the Liberté metro station. With its 5,500 seats, its immense structure without any supporting columns, and perfect visibility from every seat, it offers ideal conditions to fully enjoy this extraordinary production.
Conceived and created by Alain M. Pacherie, the Cirque Phénix is itself an architectural marvel. Built without internal masts, it covers an area of 4,230 m², measures 58 x 78 meters, and reaches a height of 15 meters under its dome.
