For nearly fifty years, the Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain (World Festival of the Circus of Tomorrow) has been one of the most prestigious international events in contemporary circus. For its 46th edition, it returns to the Cirque Phénix in Paris from January 21 to 24, 2027, to showcase the best young circus artists from around the world. A true creative laboratory and springboard to major international companies, this festival is renowned for revealing the talents who will shape the circus of tomorrow.

Founded in 1977, the Festival has become an essential event for both professionals and enthusiasts. Each year, a particularly demanding selection brings together emerging artists representing all disciplines of circus arts: juggling, acrobatics, hand-to-hand, trapeze, tightrope, Cyr wheel, balancing acts, aerial disciplines, contortion, Chinese pole, aerial straps, and many more. All present original creations before an international jury composed of renowned figures from the circus world.

The 2027 edition is organized around three shows spread over four days. Shows A and B offer two completely different programs, allowing the public to discover all the selected acts. The festival concludes with the highly anticipated Winners' Show, which brings together the artists awarded prizes by the jury at the end of the competition.

Shows A and B feature different artists. The Winners' Show brings together the acts awarded prizes by the Festival jury.

To allow spectators to fully enjoy the event, several packages of two or three shows are offered, as well as packages specially designed for students.

Beyond the competition, the Festival Mondial du Cirque de Demain is a true meeting place for artists, programmers, festival directors, circus schools, and enthusiasts from all over the world. Each edition offers the opportunity to discover new trends in contemporary circus, revisited disciplines, and ever more innovative, technical, and poetic creations.

The Festival also develops several actions aimed at promoting access to the circus for all, notably through its Demain's Volunteers program, its Social Circus project, as well as school sessions allowing many young people to discover the circus arts in privileged conditions.

Artists wishing to participate in future editions can submit their applications directly to the organization. For this edition, applications were open until September 15, 2026.
