The Brussels Circus School offers year-round introductory workshops and demonstrations in circus arts for individuals, schools, associations, local authorities, businesses, and organizers of public and private events. Whether it's for a neighborhood party, festival, fair, open house, company party, birthday, or any other event, the school puts its expertise and specialized instructors at the service of the public to introduce them to circus disciplines in a friendly, fun, and accessible atmosphere.

Circus performances are primarily organized as part of public events such as neighborhood festivals, fairs, and other events attracting a large audience. Their unique feature is that they are accessible to all ages and allow everyone to discover one or more circus arts disciplines for as long as they wish, under the guidance of one or more specialized instructors. Each participant can try out the different apparatus and progress at their own pace, regardless of their skill level.

Two types of entertainment are offered.

The first workshop, "Juggling & Manipulation," focuses on object manipulation. Participants will discover scarves, diabolo, rings, clubs, devil sticks, balls, and spinning plates. This workshop is offered at a price of €282 for 3 hours with one instructor, €501 for 3 hours with two instructors, and €725 for 5 hours with two instructors. A €50 equipment transport fee is added to the price.

The second option, Multi-Circus Workshop, offers an even more comprehensive exploration of circus arts. In addition to scarves, diabolo, rings, clubs, devil sticks, balls, and spinning plates, participants can try their hand at the balance ball, the barrel, and exercises performed on safety mats. For five-hour workshops, a balance cable is also set up to provide an additional introduction to this discipline. This option is offered at a price of €582 for 3 hours with two instructors and €806 for 5 hours with two instructors, plus a €90 equipment transport fee.

The prices shown are valid from September 2025 to August 2026, including VAT.

When the event takes the form of an open ring accommodating a large audience, the Brussels Circus School recommends having two instructors for events lasting three hours or more, in order to facilitate the flow of participants and ensure better supervision. Five-hour events, on the other hand, are always supervised by two instructors.

The Brussels Circus School also offers introductory circus workshops, particularly suited to private events. These workshops are open to children aged 6 and up, for groups of up to 14 people. When the group exceeds this number, the presence of a second instructor is mandatory to ensure the quality of instruction and the safety of the participants.

Unlike workshops that emphasize free exploration, introductory sessions offer genuine educational learning. Throughout the session, a circus arts specialist guides participants in discovering different techniques, adapting exercises to the group's level and fostering individual progress.

Two options are also available.

The Juggling Initiation course introduces participants to scarves, diabolo, rings, clubs, flower sticks, balls, and spinning plates. Prices are €345 for 3 hours with one instructor, €726 for 3 hours with two instructors, €455 for 5 hours with one instructor, and €935 for 5 hours with two instructors. Equipment transport costs €50.

The Multi-Circus Introduction offers a more comprehensive exploration of circus disciplines, including scarves, diabolo, rings, clubs, devil sticks, balls, spinning plates, a balance ball, a barrel, and safety mats. As with the other activities, the balance cable is only set up during the five-hour sessions. Prices are €405 for 3 hours with one instructor, €759 for 3 hours with two instructors, €548 for 5 hours with one instructor, and €964 for 5 hours with two instructors. Equipment transport costs €90.

These rates are also valid from September 2025 to August 2026, including VAT.

For both workshops and introductory sessions, several general conditions must be met. A representative from the organizing body must accompany the group and the instructor and participate in setting up and putting away the equipment. Workshops are not held at the Brussels Circus School. Introductory sessions also take place at the organizer's premises, but, exceptionally and subject to the Brussels Circus School's availability, they may be held at the school's facilities.

In the event of a cancellation by the Brussels Circus School, the sessions will be rescheduled under the same conditions at no additional cost.

In the event of cancellation by the organizer, the refund conditions are as follows: full refund for a cancellation made more than thirty days before the service, 50% refund for a cancellation between fifteen and thirty days before the scheduled date, and no refund in the event of cancellation less than fifteen days before the service.

The activities are not covered by insurance. It is therefore the organizer's responsibility to take out insurance with the provider of their choice. In the event of loss or damage to the equipment provided, it will be charged at cost price.

Alongside these event services, the Brussels Circus School offers a weekly diabolo course, one of the emblematic disciplines of circus arts.

Originating in Asia, diabolo is a particularly accessible discipline suitable for all ages. Using two sticks connected by a nylon string, participants learn to spin the diabolo, balance it on the string, and perform a variety of tricks. Instruction goes beyond simply acquiring basic techniques: students also develop their control of movement, their relationship with the object, their sense of motion, and their artistic creativity. The course constantly strives for a balance between technical learning and personal expression.

The diabolo season runs from Thursday, September 10, 2026, to Thursday, June 3, 2027, at the Tour & Taxis site. Two time slots are offered to those born in 2015 or earlier: Thursdays from 5:15 p.m. to 6:45 p.m. and Thursdays from 6:45 p.m. to 8:15 p.m. Each time slot costs €368 per year. At the time of publication, 4 places remained available in the first group and 6 places in the second. The Brussels Circus School specifies that it does not offer trial classes and that the activity will only run if there are at least 8 participants.

Through its animations, initiations and regular courses, the Brussels Circus School continues its mission of transmitting circus arts by offering activities accessible to all audiences, combining technical learning, creativity, object manipulation, balance, body expression and the pleasure of sharing a circus experience in a professional and caring environment.
