Since 2008, Vive La Magie has been touring France with a strong ambition: to introduce the richness of the magical arts to as many people as possible through a high-quality program accessible to all audiences. Much more than just a show, Vive La Magie is now a true traveling festival that brings together artists from all corners of the world each season to celebrate all forms of magic. Its goal is to demonstrate that this living art is simultaneously popular, demanding, modern, and profoundly universal, capable of enchanting children and adults alike.

For the 2026-2027 season, the festival hits the road again with a new French tour, stopping in numerous cities between October 2026 and April 2027. Each performance is completely revamped, offering a brand-new show where several international artists take to the stage in very different styles. Audiences are invited to discover a succession of acts blending grand illusions, mentalism, visual magic, object manipulation, comedic magic, technological effects, poetic performances, and contemporary creations. Each artist brings their own unique sensibility, style, and personality to create a fast-paced show where wonder regularly gives way to surprise, laughter, and emotion.

The festival champions a modern vision of magic. Here, illusions are not merely technical demonstrations; they become a true artistic language. Spectacular effects are integrated into a meticulously crafted production, enhanced by lighting design, original soundtracks, elegant sets, and scenography that completely immerses the audience in a world where anything seems possible. The entire show is designed to maintain a brisk pace, alternating between grand visual tableaux, intimate moments, and audience interaction.

Over the years, Vive La Magie has become much more than just a series of shows. The festival has gradually expanded to offer a variety of complementary experiences, allowing everyone to discover magic according to their interests and age. The Grand Spectacle forms the heart of the program, bringing together several of the best illusionists in their field on the same stage. These shows offer a succession of diverse acts, showcasing the full range of contemporary magic arts.

The youngest audiences are not forgotten, as the festival also offers shows specially designed for children. These performances emphasize humor, audience participation, fantastical stories, and visual effects accessible to even the youngest viewers. They allow families to share a first encounter with the world of magic in a friendly and welcoming atmosphere.

The program also includes one-man shows, true auteur performances where a single artist develops their personal universe throughout an entire show. Whether it's theatrical magic, mentalism, comedic magic, or more intimate creations, these shows allow the audience to discover the unique work of an illusionist and explore a more personal approach to this art.

Because Vive La Magie also wants to share its passion, the festival organizes workshops for both children and adults. These sessions offer the opportunity to discover the basics of magic, learn different tricks, understand certain manipulation techniques, and develop creativity. Led by professionals, these workshops are an excellent introduction for those who want to learn about illusion while sharing a fun and educational experience.

The lectures complement this program by offering discussions on the history of magic, its evolution, its great artists, and its various disciplines. They allow magic to be approached from a cultural and artistic perspective, while fostering exchanges between enthusiasts, artists, and the general public.

Since its inception, Vive La Magie has welcomed over 300 artists representing all five continents, confirming its international reach and its commitment to showcasing a wide variety of styles. In nearly twenty years, the festival has produced 744 shows and now attracts almost 30,000 spectators each year. These figures illustrate the growing success of this event, which has become one of France's leading festivals dedicated to the art of illusion.

At the helm of the festival, Aurore Mourgues, director of Vive La Magie, continues this commitment to championing contemporary, elegant, and accessible magic. For her, magic is above all "the art of making the impossible seem possible in order to reveal what is essential: our capacity for wonder." This philosophy guides the entire festival program, which aims primarily to evoke emotions, awaken curiosity, and create unforgettable memories for all generations.

The success of Vive La Magie also rests on the loyalty of its audience. Many spectators return each year to discover the new edition, drawn by the quality of the guest artists, the diversity of the disciplines represented, and the care taken with each show. Testimonials gathered over the seasons regularly evoke a moment of shared family fun, a constant sense of wonder, and a particularly polished production that continually renews the experience.

The 2026-2027 tour will notably pass through Vannes, Semur-en-Auxois, Aix-en-Provence, Rennes, Rodez, Narbonne, Hyères, Barbières, Montélimar, Orvault, Bordeaux, Mézos, Lyon, Lille, Graveson and Malemort, allowing a wide audience to enjoy this exceptional program throughout France.

Whether you're a magic enthusiast, a live performance lover, or simply looking for a unique family outing, Vive La Magie 2026-2027 promises an immersive experience where imagination comes to life before the audience's eyes. Between grand illusions, humor, poetry, emotion, technical feats, and encounters with artists from around the world, the festival continues to showcase the magic arts, offering a unique celebration of wonder, creativity, and live performance.
