The Bubble Maker is a poetic and family-friendly show for young audiences, presented by Youssef le Daron, in which soap bubbles become the starting point for a journey into the imagination. Presented by Ouragan du Rire, the show will tour several French cities in January and February 2027, with performances in Nancy, Strasbourg, Nantes, Cerizay, Saint-Jean-le-Blanc, Lyon, Chambéry, and Rennes, among others.
At the heart of the story is Mehdi, a dreamy character who one day makes an extraordinary discovery: a bubble machine that is also a dream machine. But the bubbles it produces are not just ordinary soap bubbles. Each one contains a unique dream and opens the door to a new world.
Mehdi then lets himself drift from one dream to another. Each new bubble becomes the promise of a journey and a new discovery. Behind this succession of worlds lies a simple yet essential question: among all these dreams, will Mehdi manage to find the one that truly resonates with him?
The show uses the fascinating world of soap bubbles as the basis for a story intended for children. Their lightness, transparency, colorful reflections, and ephemeral nature naturally accompany this immersion in the imagination and give the show its visual identity.
Performed by Youssef le Daron, The Bubble Maker is officially recommended for children aged 4 to 10. Its duration of approximately 45 minutes makes it a particularly suitable format for a first visit to a show or a family cultural outing.
The show's world lies at the intersection of children's entertainment, theatre, and bubble manipulation, with a story built around dreams, curiosity, and imagination. It's not simply a technical demonstration of bubbles: they are integrated into the narrative and become the driving force behind Mehdi's adventures.
The 2027 tour will allow the show to be seen in eight French cities between January 9 and February 6, 2027. Performances are mainly scheduled for weekends, in the morning or afternoon, with times particularly suited to families.
