8-Rings Play:

The 8-Rings Play is a manipulation tool consisting of two connected rings. By rotating it and passing it between the hands, you can play with their orientations and apparent overlap to create visual illusions. It allows you to practice simple movements and then build more fluid sequences.

This model is demountable: the separate components take up less space for storage and transport. It is only available in white.

The basic movements are easy to learn, but their execution requires precision. The fluidity of the rotations and transitions is what gives the effects their clarity. You can start with a single 8-ring drum; using two increases the difficulty and allows you to create more elaborate sequences.

Practical advice:

Start slowly with a single 8-ring and focus on the transitions between hands. Once the rotations become smooth, work on the transitions to make the movements continuous. The collapsible design makes it easier to transport between sessions and practice locations.
