Fabio is a French artist and a world-renowned Dragon Staff practitioner. Since 2017, his brand Flowbonacci has been working on the technical evolution of the apparatus, offering equipment renowned for its functional efficiency and durability.

FAQ Vortex Disc

Is the disc sold in pairs?

No, the disc is sold individually. To equip a full dragon staff, you will generally need to order two VORTEX discs.

Can I install it on any tube?

The central hole diameter is 22 mm. It is specifically designed for 22 mm diameter tubing (Flowbonacci standard). A Flowbonacci Hub is required for installation.

Is recycled plastic fragile?

On the contrary, Fabio selected an extremely resistant recycled polymer. It is designed to withstand repeated impacts on hard surfaces without cracking, unlike standard plastics.

Does the visual effect require special lighting?

No, the optical illusion is generated by the geometric shape of the disc as it rotates. However, contrasting lighting will accentuate the hypnotic effect for the audience.

What is the weight difference compared to the Tri-Ying models?

At 350g, the VORTEX is heavier. This increased mass provides greater inertia, which facilitates slow movements and gives a feel very close to fire models.

Can the disc catch fire?

No. This model is intended exclusively for training and non-fire scene use. It must never be exposed to a direct flame or intense heat source.
