The Vortex stands out for its eco-responsible approach, being the first dragon staff made from recycled plastic . This approach is part of Flowbonacci's deep commitment to preserving our planet. The production of VORTEX discs, recounted by Fabio, involves a short recycling circuit, underscoring the desire to reduce the carbon footprint of this remarkable product.

NetJuggler's opinion

Fabio explained to me that the plastic is collected locally in the town where he lives, crushed 20 km away, and then cut 17 km away. Its mission, which NetJuggler salutes in passing, is to minimize the CO2 emissions associated with its production. As usual, here we have another Flowbonacci product that is designed for intensive use by professionals. If you already have equipment from this brand, you know what I'm talking about :-)

Performance and Safety

The Vortex's heads, slightly heavier than those of the Tri-Ying or the Original, have been meticulously designed to mimic the feel of a fire dragon staff. Their disc shape not only ensures safety, but also exceptional stability and effortless rotation.

The Vortex pack includes a pair of Vortex staff dragon heads, a pair of Spinal Hubs, a set of screws, an Allen key, and a carbon fiber staff already equipped with its goat grip. It's important to note that the Flowbonacci Spinal Hubs included with this staff are not suitable for use with fire equipment (don't venture there lol).

Compatibility with the Dragon Gora kit:

This Flowbonacci carbon tube is not originally designed for use with the Dragon Gora kit . However, it is possible to combine them provided that certain important precautions are observed.

• If you are particularly careful with your equipment, you can obtain a high-quality fire staff by combining this tube with the Dragon Gora kit (not included with the tube).
• Caution: Improper use or direct exposure to fire may damage the carbon tube, particularly if the material overheats or ignites.
• The manufacturer Flowbonacci does not guarantee this tube if used with any fire kit, including the Dragon Gora kit.
• It is strongly recommended to apply silicone tape (not included) to the section of the tube without grip to create a thermal insulator between the carbon and the metal adapter of the Dragon kit. This helps limit direct heat transmission and protects against flames.
• Despite this, indirect heat can still be transmitted through the metal hub, so it is essential to check the hub temperature before restarting a fire session.
• Safety tip: If you can place your fingers on the hub without burning yourself, then the staff is ready for another session. If not, it is essential to wait until the whole thing has cooled down sufficiently.

In summary, this configuration is possible but intended for experienced users, aware of the risks and capable of taking care of their fire equipment.
